has anybody else noticed this ?

i noticed this when i went to see GOTG last week. the imax tickets all had written 700rs in the lower left side of the tickets... sodoes that mean 700 is the actual cost and they dumbasses at cinestar are forcing us to rent their fu**ing imax glasses just to return to them after the show ! i also noticed while i was leaving the hall there was no one there to ask for the glasses back and just a bin to throw in the glasses meaning its optional that we take the glasses with us or not since we are paying an extra 300rs for them... same thing happened to me in usa, they did ask for us to return them but it was our choice in the end to return em or not and i just took em as a momentum, same glasses i used in cinestar worked just fine. so can we like tell them this 1000rs is absurd and we brought our own glassess.. its a money hogging sh*t they are doing that they aren't selling imax glasses and making us rent them !

so what is the going rate in the u.s for the tickets? as far as i gather we have it much cheaper still...

Saw TMNT at Cinepax (Dolby Atmos)

The Cinema itself is very good seating was comfortable AC was good screen size was also good..The only thing is different between other cinemas and Cinepax is Dolby Atmos except that every thing is same..but I only feel Dolby Atmos when ever I saw a fight scene and especially in gun shot sound..After IMAX Atmos’s sound is best ….But trust me IMAX is THE DADDY of all cinemas..

went to Nueplex Cinema at The Place Mall, DHA Phase VIII, Karachi. I've been to Atrium Cinema a couple of times, and love their cinema D with Dolby 7.1 sound, but when I heard about Nueplex I always wanted to go there. Initial impressions were good, seating was not comfortable though, screen size is ok as well, Cine Star in Lahore is much bigger I guess. I went in cinema 2 as my cousin told me that cinema 2 has the largest screen! Btw what's wrong with Atrium? Showing all Indian movies in cinema D, WTF?? Same goes for Nueplex as well, all English movies are being shown in smaller screens!! :|

Me too. But the amount of censoring if it ever comes here will be too much, better to watch it at home when good print comes.

watched TMNT in Dolby Atmos at Cinepax, Fortress Square! Damn it was loud, like really loud, my head hurts now! But overall its a great experience for kickass action movies! Every explosion makes ur head pound. Now can we have Dolby 7.1 surround as well in Lahore?

I mean Dolby Atmos is just one theater which is too far from my place, but Dolby 7.1 is more common so Cine Star or Super Cinema should upgrade their theaters!
