Stupid Warid - Money Leechers!!!

Last night after 12 AM I started getting charged for SMS on my Warid network, so I checked their website and saw this message

" services ke mayar ko barqarar rakhne ke liye Warid Apna Shahar Offer, FnF Offer aur Daily/Weekly SMS bundles, 28th July se 30th July tak mayassar nahi hongi "

I mean wtf??? They know these are the days when ppl will need and use the SMS more than ever and they start this nonsense money looting scheme!!!

A few weeks back they stopped the Internet Packages for a day to charge customers full charges and now this!

Has any other network done this or is it just Warid???

Seriously thinking to email them and tell them that myself and my other 10 family members using their network are moving to another network because of their nonsense policies to loot customers!

I think it will help if they get a lot complaints and rants from their customers, what do you guys think???

I got a similar text from Ufone. Personally, I think it's a great move. Ought to stop the SMS spam.

Use whatsapp. SMS Eid Mubarak spam messeges are too old now. If someone cares enough, He/she won't care for spending little more than normal.

I personally hardly reply to Eid Mubarak Msgs other than dearest ones.

OR they can stop the forwarding of messages to multiple recipients to stop this spam!

This is against freedom of rights in a way that even those suffer who use sms for communication and not spam but these networks use this as an excuse to charge $$$ simple as that!

Just read on mobilink's website " Moaziz Sarif, Eid kay dino mein Mobilink ki tamam offers khuli rahein ge " so it's not a practice of all the networks, just the greedy ones like Warid!

The funny thing is that SMS does not put even the smallest burden on cell phone service providers. Like it puts 0 burden on their servers n shit. So I dunno why they do these kinda things.

It's not technical, purely marketing people. Putting a limit per day is very good idea.

i sent like more then a 1000 msgs....in just an hour..

Bhai ye Warid walon ko hi khujli hai koi, Mobilink and Ufone working fine :/

    why you are paying american rates in Pakistan. Search cheaper region like Turkey. 13k for 13 months. Ms does not care
