This is what I believe. Triggor's thoughts might be similar.
Game Wise: T5DR is the best Tekken, SSFIV is the best Street Fighter, and T5DR>SSFIV
Series Wise: SF>Tekken (I think Triggor might say the opposite on this one)
As for the poll results, well, you guys are entitled to your opinions, but the last Tekken game (T6) dissapointed most fans of the series, while the last SF game, revived the entire fighting game genre. :]
you are right about that sephi. I used to love tekken 6 since i never played any tekken game after tekken tag tournament. but i simply loved tekken 6. Iron was the one who diverted me to SF4 like 6 months back. Since both games belong to different genre . Tekken6 would be the best 3D game ever for now . SF4 completely revived and rejuvenated the street fighter in all of us for sure. i like the idea that even someone who hasnt played tekken ever has a bright chance of winning against a experienced player . As for Sf4 its not a game for button mashers.
I never really follow tekken series that much, i have beaten the experience tekken players with my button mashing technique and it works when i play occasionally. Once your player is down you just mash him with the combos, still Tekken is one of the best 3d fighting game. The reason i love SF4 more compare to Tekken is that you have to predict other player moves, its mind game and you can't just follow the same set of combos but have to change it time to time and the strategy is an important element in SF4 oh and a noob can never beat an experience player in SF4 it takes months or a year to become a good player. Thats why SF4 is amazing for me this game is totally unpredictable and is punishable to the beginners when they go against a good player.
Tekken and Virtua Fighter are essentially the elite fighting game series, as far as I'm concerned
Not really a fan of Street Fighter; never have been....only got into it since Tekken 6 lags like a granny when playing online, whereas SSFIV works pretty well
Even so, it really isn't fair to compare 2D and 3D fighters with each other.

Novice players usually fall prey to simple wake up moves and masher-friendly combos. How your opponent gets back up from the floor plays a pretty significant role in avoiding such stuff. Sometimes, a backroll will murder you in an instant, whereas at other instances it would be the safest means of evasion.
I find it strange that you guys say that a beginner has some chance against an experienced player in Tekken. If our definitions of experienced are the same, the experienced fighter will punish one whiffed move with a combo that takes the newbie to the wall, and does like 40-60% damage. Rinse repeat, game over. I'm not saying SF is friendlier, but think about it. How many times have you felt that you were the better player but lost to a guy mashing Shoryuken?
Also, there's no point to this thread. We all know SF vs Tekken (the game) isn't happening, and this SF vs Tekken debate is pretty pointless. Should I lock it or let it stay?
no idea how that is a steal by wasting 3500 rupees per month and for games that are removed before you can finish them off.xbox gamepass is garbage with no local prices

Just finished Diablo 4 season in hurry to play Fallout 4 but gamepass released another banger in the form of Star Wars on April 25th. Gamepass is a steal man.
Is it just me or people lately seem to defend every bad game design decision made by the devs and try to give bullshit reasons for that? Or perhaps it's because I'm on reddit and discord
