Sorry for the late reply as well. I have disconnected Stormfiber for more than 3 months now (only used it for 3 months). First month they had pie bandwidth - then they switched to tw and went downhill while at the same time Fiberlink was also using TW bandwidth but went uphill.

Long story short - Stormfiber really shiet (at least for me) atm so no game ;D! GG GL

Would you say Fiberlink is better for gaming?
How about pings to: Singapore, Dubai and India? Thanks.

From Feb-March of this year till now, Fiberlink has been consistently good for gaming (minus a few weeks hither and thither).

80-100 ms to Singapore
28-40 ms to Dubai
38-50 ms to India
130-150 ms to EU

For the last 2 weeks though, routing has again been changed. On most tracerts via WinMTR, results show higher latencies; while in-game I still get the latencies stated above.

Waiting for SMW5 to reach end consumers ;D!

In Model Town F-Block. Got the 10mb 5k installation offer installed today. Will upgrade to 20mb next month. Working great for now. Probably never going to look back at shittyCL as long as im getting this service. 150 ping League's euw server feels orgasmic after 220-250 ping on ptcl.

just got storm fiber 10mpbs installed last week in johar town g block lahore ask me anything related eg pings,dow up speed etc

Stormfiber, Fiberlink and Connect all are not available in my area near Ranchoreline/Jubilee. It's actually sad..

GUYS I NEED HELP

I got stormfiber about 2 weeks back .. I mainly use it for gaming .. heavily into dota, overwatch etc.

For the first week the performance (in terms of ping/latency) was great. I used to get SEA 105, Dubai 60 etc. really good and stable. Im happy with those numbers. I live in model town lahore btw.

Unfortunately though, since the past 2 days my pings have been very bad. Like 200+ sea etc. and they also have been fluctuating. Ive complained to stormfiber about this to them. Pleading to them that I got the internet only for gaming and if pings arent stable/reliable then it beats the purpose. They say they will try but cannot commit on latency.

My question is why is this happening with me when everyone else is getting reliable 100 avg ping on SEA?

What can i do about this? Who can i contact in stormfiber who will actually help me?

Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks

It happens due to high load on storm fiber servers or the upstream providers issue

    Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.

    tbh gaming industry as a whole is failing much like tech industry. They have buckled down too much to Corporate suites then relying on passionate and innovative people. A corporate only believes in financial growth and shareholders.
