Isnt stormfiber supposed to keep pings at a reliable and decent standing?

Or are these "high load" periods rare occurrences that I just happen to experience the moment I get my new connection?

It happens rarely and one more thing are you on pie or transworld routing ?
On pie dubai is 30 ms And sgp is 100
While on tw dubai is 50 and sgp is 150 to 170 at times.
It also happens due to bad routing

Kindly note. Dubai is of ZERO importance to me. I play ranked dota on SEA. So i really dont care if i get dubai even 40ms. All I want is decent ms at SEA. like 100/110 something like that. currently its so high.

GUYS I NEED HELP

I got stormfiber about 2 weeks back .. I mainly use it for gaming .. heavily into dota, overwatch etc.

For the first week the performance (in terms of ping/latency) was great. I used to get SEA 105, Dubai 60 etc. really good and stable. Im happy with those numbers. I live in model town lahore btw.

Unfortunately though, since the past 2 days my pings have been very bad. Like 200+ sea etc. and they also have been fluctuating. Ive complained to stormfiber about this to them. Pleading to them that I got the internet only for gaming and if pings arent stable/reliable then it beats the purpose. They say they will try but cannot commit on latency.

My question is why is this happening with me when everyone else is getting reliable 100 avg ping on SEA?

What can i do about this? Who can i contact in stormfiber who will actually help me?

Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks

OK , UPDATE FROM LAST 2 DAYS , PING ON EACH SERVER V.HIGH ON SEA 270MS , DUBAI 110MS , USED TO 112 ON SEA , BUT DOWNLOADING AND STREAMING GREAT I MAILED THEM THEY REPLIED "Thank you for contacting StormFiber. With reference to our verbal discussion, this is to inform you that we are offering consumer internet services and can’t commit any fix range latency on any destination. Furthermore, the mentioned latency is increasing on the upstream end for which our NOC team has taken up the matter with them to check what better routing possibility, our upstream provider can optimize. Although, there are no packet losses on the connectivity yet, the latency can vary at certain times due to best effort internet traffic.

In addition, as you are aware that guaranteed latency to certain destination comes under enterprises solution by using IP/VPN, IPLC circuits.

We will further update you once we get any positive response from upstream end."

You have to call them and ask them to switch you on pie but note I was on pie yesterday they are having issues with pings as well and downloading sucks on pie.

I was getting <50ms to India and <90ms to Singapore yesterday. They must have reset my IP.

How is Fiberlink when it comes to pings? SF is so reliable I can't risk changing.

Edit: Called them and they said they can't change routing for individual customers and that they're using TW.

1mb per second (95 % of time) (sometimes fluctuates to 1.1mb and 500-700kb rarely) on torrents using storm fiber lahore

After sending them millions of queries , yesterday they shifted my circuit to Pie now i am having 103 ms ping on SEA , but they said its temporary shifting untill they optimize upstream routing

Although as mentioned that we are not serving PIE bandwidth for StormFiber customers yet to facilitate your concern, routing changes have been made at core end.

In addition, we would also like to inform you that we are offering consumer services so the Internet Carrier Path shifting and route optimization cannot be done on runtime basis due to core network limitations.

Meanwhile our NOC team is in coordination with our upstream provider to get the best possible latency range on the mentioned SGP destination but it is difficult to commit a fixed range latency because it may vary at Upstream according to routes and network changes at International hops.[/FONT]

The Bangladesh Submarine Cable Company Limited (BSCCL) – a member of the SeaMeWe-5 consortium – will start offering services over the new submarine cable in February 2017, The Daily Star writes. If you look at the current TW1 undersea cable Transworld doesn't have any access except through Oman. That's why pings East are terrible. They own the seamewe 5, which does have direct connectivity to SGP. I wonder when that cable will finally become operational.
