Stressful areas pertaining to streaming of data. Necrokiller trying too hard now. I've been wanting the devs to disable RT in Performance mode since launch :LOL: 🤜
On the contrary, CerebralTiger is trying to hard to ignore "game changing RT". Yeh to haalaat hain keh CerebralTiger can't even get his stutter free performance even after sub 1080p visuals and disabling "game changing RT". Yikes 😂


Didn't wait for anything. Finished the main story last night. Great game. Glad I waited for the best performing version to offer stable performance. A shame about those who had been waiting to play this on PC :ROFLMAO:

Who said anything about blurriness? Yeah, it's reconstructing from 960p as the upper ceiling, so it's gonna have an expected degree of unavoidable blurriness. But the reconstruction artifacts you continue to point out aren't the norm. They can happen in certain situations where the reconstruction algorithm falls apart, but it's rare enough for it to not be an issue in the general run of play. I performed the same double jump just to show you that.

The real shame is the lack of a 120 Hz Performance mode because the frame rate is probably hovering in the 80-90 fps range most of the time now 🤷‍♂️ :LOL:

I men, yeah, their job is to highlight such deficiencies. That says nothing about the frequency of said deficiencies showing up during gameplay. DF thinks the PS5/Series X versions are now in a great state, and that they should've launched this way, especially since the Series S version never had RT to begin with, so the rasterized path was always there for them to use :LOL:🤜

John only referred to the water reflections on Koboh as horrible, and they really are. As him and Oliver pointed out, cubemaps would've worked better there.

But then Oliver promptly corrected him by telling him that the Series S version never had RT to begin with, so that can't be true 🤷‍♂️ :LOL:

Of course it can be. I mean, clearly Series S was neglected here evidenced by the lack of fall back cube maps on all platforms indicating that the game was designed around RT only 🤜😂

It's not isolated though. There are no cube maps in the entire game. Every time SSR fails, and it does throughout, you will get the same broken ass effects. They even gave the example RE2 police station broken reflections to explain. No body of water there yet broken 🤷‍♂️😂

No "game changing" self reflections for CerebralTiger either 🤷‍♂️😂

The SSR failure in other areas is typical of SSR where stuff not being rendered on-screen disappears from reflected surfaces. That's there in so many games, and has never been an issue. The Koboh water reflection stands out as bad because it exhibits artifacts. Even then, I'll take that with excellent performance over physically correct reflections any day 🤜

Aur agar performance RT mil jata to kya hi baat thi. Alas, gotta wait for that Pro model and further wait for Respawn to drop a patch 🤷‍♂️😂

Funny how CerebralTiger develops a tolerance for all deficiencies on consoles but can't seem to accept that other people can do the same on other platforms 🤷‍♂️😂

Despite it offering the least troublesome performance, I wasn't tolerant to the PS5 version and waited for a patch after reaching the main story's mid point. It all worked out well in the end :LOL: 🤜

Fully patched game has higher DRS and better average performance on SX compared to PS5.

Launch version ran better on PS5, likely because the developers put more time pre-release on the platform with more sales.

Saeen itna untapped potential wasted just because of focus on the 'more popular' console.
