Same as NXG results, better resolution, locked 60 FPS etc.

This is how the game should have launched with a normal performance mode and RT quality mode.

Removal of RT is quite the downgrade.

That means the complete removal of the RT global illumination and RT reflections in the performance mode on PS5 and Series X - alongside unspecified "GPU and CPU optimisations" - to hopefully achieve better frame-rates. That includes the cutscenes, which still render at 30fps, but no longer feature ray tracing.
I had no idea cut scenes were locked to 30fps....what years is it...yikes!

The removal of RT reflections is a different story.

It seems pretty clear that the game wasn't designed from an artistic perspective to operate without RT reflection

The removal of RT reflections is much of a shame. The fallbacks are not so graceful and sometimes there are no reflections at all.
It looks so bad here that removing SSR completely would be the right choice, at least in these areas.
Yikes.

Some traversal stutter remains

CerebralTIger wanted an example of an UE4 game with traversal stutter on current gen consoles.....welp, looks like we got one LMAOOOOOOO

Dat quality mode. So much for that being consistent LMAOO

This game is still a disaster on all platforms.

Here's the full statement from Oliver 🤷‍♂️

Some traversal stutter remains, but it's not terribly intrusive on the experience and sometimes amounts to just a single dropped frame. This is true on both PS5 and series X which have a similarly smooth frame rate readout. That's great news and Jedi Survivor feels really solid now at 60fps.

Direct feed screenshot of latest patch in performance mode by none other than VGTech.

The screenshots speak for themselves. Those artifacts simply aren't there 🤷‍♂️

Even before this patch, I never encountered anything similar to iampasha's avatar, and screenshots were also provided back then 🤷‍♂️
@iampasha An update for your avatar

He is not even in motion in that screen shot!
Particle effects are also totally broken with FSR2.

This game truely is pathetic optimization wise.
Yepp. Meanwhile, CerebralTiger tolerating this broken mess when even a Ryzen 3600 at 720p is providing PS5 beating performance :ROFLMAO:

And more interestingly, Alex also found that no matter the read out on the frame time graph you get jittery motion because the game animations are broken. Alex discovers what Oliver and VGTech could not 🤜

Did you watch a video other than the one you shared? Coz Alex just showed how horrible the game runs on PC at the lowest settings, Ryzen 3600 or Core i9, with massive frame time spikes due to both shader compilation and traversal stutter.

^ several more examples in the video.

Both the PS5 and Xbox Series X run the game really well in Performance mode now, as stated by DF and as seen in VG Tech's performance stats. Meanwhile, as Alex correctly titled his video, "Jedi Survivor PC is still unacceptably poor". Tough luck Necrokiller :ROFLMAO:

Alex discovered it now. He has analyzed the game at launch. Radical pointed it out from the get-go.

Radical > DF/VGTech  🤜

And, unlike frame time stutters, these animation jitters have no impact on import, and, therefore, don't affect playability. They do, however, stand out as an unwanted visual annoyance.

Radical is talking about the jankyness even outside of the issue Alex pointed out. Pay attention :ROFLMAO:

Tolerance, tolerance everywhere. Its a fact that the game STILL stutters on consoles even without RT and animations are broken.

Look, we get it, you wasted money on this. But there is no room for subjectivity here so you can keep the "really wells" and "having no impact" limited to your own playthroughs. 🤜:ROFLMAO:

It STILL stutters is a vague attempt at generalization in order to cover up for the real mess that is PC version :ROFLMAO:

That's right, there is no room for subjectivity, and the very few stutters there are in the console versions show how much better it runs than on PC. Huuuuuge difference, and Alex's PC video title is very telling 🤷‍♂️

Speaking of which, of all the games/expansions Necrokiller was excited about in 2023, one turned out a technical disaster on exclusively on PC, one turned out a bomba (in his own words), and one turned out a bomba in general (lulzfall). BG3 is the only exception thus far. Let's see how that mid game's expansion fares 🤜

It STILL stutters
It, unfortunately for someone who paid for this at launch and had put the game on hold, is just a fact :ROFLMAO:

Looks like the only person actually craving this game was CerebralTiger all along. Paying for a broken ass version at launch, defending the abysmal performance and visuals on forums meanwhile putting the game on hold, and resuming the game even after the biggest patch still couldn't fix the stutters and visuals, and actually ended up doing more harm than good to the visuals in the process.

Finished the first mission. The frame rate isn't a stable 60fps. Probably hovering in the 50s most of the time. There are rare instances of stutter as well, but nothing like the disaster that is the PC version 🤷‍♂️
And in the end, the game isn't even worthy of CerebralTiger's "mid" status. Imagine defending your poor tastes and destroying any standard you pretended to have for performance along with it. Yikes yikes yikes.

It fixed them and they happen less than 0.2% of the time now (a percentage Necrokiller is proud of from his testing) 🤷‍♂️

Performance issues at launch played a role in the Metascore. We'll never know what it'd have scored had it launched with the current Performance mode 🤜

Another thing Alex pointed out regarding the animation jitters. They only happen when the frame rate is capped or if one is using frame generation on PC. In the next patch, I hope the frame rate is uncapped for VRR supported displays so that this too becomes a non-issue for console players 🤜

Yes, like Bayonetta 3 🤜
A "mid" game by your own standards 🤜 :ROFLMAO:

In Jedi Survivor's case, it's like 0.1%, and the corresponding video was provided to show that stressful areas were tested, unlike whatever Necrokiller did to achieve 0.2% stutters in Dead Space :ROFLMAO:
Huh?

0.1%? Ye konsi math hai?

Dead Space Remake was like 0.2%....

meanwhile Jedi Survivor is 0.86% as per VGTech.

HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA Dead Space Remake on PC > Jedi Survivor on PS5. FACTS! :ROFLMAO:

Doob marro at this point :ROFLMAO:

I'm outta here. CerebralTiger is a bigger MESS right now than this game :ROFLMAO:

You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.
