To be fair, after adjusting the FOV slider and motion smoothing of the the tele, the game feels much much better now.
Previously as well, it was nothing close to the video posted above . The TV FPS counter was consistently showing the FPS ranging between 50-60 fps with VRR. There were frequent milli second stutters and there was a lot of pop-in compared to other games on the PS5 but it wasnt unplayable or broken in any sense.
Make no mistake about it. The PS5 version is far more playable than the PC version. As venom pointed out, VRR frame rate statistics show the game running between 50-60 fps most of the time (visual evidence can be provided if required). Yes, there are loading stutters, but much less frequent and less intense than on PC, as pointed out by Necrokiller-certified analyst NX Gamer
I don't. I just need greater distance between the player character and the camera, and the widest FoV setting gives me that. The fish eye effect only really stands out in video footage and not during gameplay on a big screen.
Like I said, it's an option. Objectively, there's no fish eye effect using the default (or even a few notches higher) FoV. If I want, I can dial it down, but even if I want, I can't dial down the insane stutter on PC [/QUOTE]
We don't care about you what you want. Video proves terrible fish eye distortion in 3 of your videos. Someone desperately needs 21:9 support. Cerny, doooooo something
Doesn't care what I want, but proceeds to care about what I want
The video proves the game runs fine even on the highest FoV setting, which is generally more taxing. Whether I choose to keep that setting during my gameplay is entirely irrelevant to the discussion
It ain't irrelevant because people need to know which version is more stable among a series of bad performing ones. Potential purchase decisions rely on this
no idea how that is a steal by wasting 3500 rupees per month and for games that are removed before you can finish them off.xbox gamepass is garbage with no local prices

Just finished Diablo 4 season in hurry to play Fallout 4 but gamepass released another banger in the form of Star Wars on April 25th. Gamepass is a steal man.
Is it just me or people lately seem to defend every bad game design decision made by the devs and try to give bullshit reasons for that? Or perhaps it's because I'm on reddit and discord
