The performance has improved. But the poor visual quality in Performance mode persists on both consoles and PC, as per the YouTube and Reddit comments.



Also, the performance mode runs at sub HD resolution, 684p upscaled to 1440p. lol.

Summary: FPS has increased, but stutters on PC and screen tearing on consoles in Performance mode persist.

Although, the game looks pretty sharp in resolution mode on PS5 as per the comments. It is the only playable mode on the console without screen tearing and other artifacts.

Performance is king, and both the PS5 and Series X versions stutter "much, much" less than the PC version

Check out NFS 2015 on the PS4, it looks better than the current gen. NFS on the PS5.

Series X with 240 frame time spikes above 33ms in around 15 mins of gameplay, while PS5 has 154. Yikes @ both but a bigger Y.I.K.ES !!!! @ Series X.

I mean, I'm just using that value to explain how PC has it worse. Not suggesting spikes above 33.33 ms in a game that targets 16.67 ms or lower don't manifest as stutters. I did say PS5 performance is yikes
