As per Cereby's request.

All things spoilerific in Dead Space 2 go here. No spoiler tags required.

The double cross by the woman guiding Isaac during the first 5 chapters was cheap. And lame.

It was probably just an attempt to lengthen a very short game.Other than that the only thing Issac did was destroy the Marker that's all the story there is in the game.Of course there were some details in between that were interesting but still, this ain't no Mass Effect.

Boss fight was kinda disappointing, there wasn't a single 'Boss' in the entire game. Loved the game and some of it's creepiness, especially at the start of the game:D It started out really scary, well atleast for me. Though the more I got into the game, I kinda knew what to expect and hence the scariness leveled down. Probably because after playing DS1, it wasn't new, we all knew what to expect. A good sequel nevertheless.

^^Actually the fight with the tormentor was pretty awesome IMO but otherwise there weren't any real bosses.I really missed those huge Ass Necros from DS1 like the Leviathan and the crawler or the Hive mind.

I was disappointed that we couldn't kill that Hunter(Regenrationg Necromorph)... Resident Evil 4 had kinda something similar and we could kill it, it was hard but very satisfying in the end though.... But in DS2 at the end i tried every possible method but there was no way to kill that bastard.... (Yeh i know about that fan in the last room but it still ain't cool as it doesn't look like it was programmed to happen....
The lack of Boss Battles is nothing to get disappointed as there was enough action and context sensitive moments to keep that pace so i never noticed lack of boss battles..

^^Actually Issac did kill a Re generator in Dead Space 1.Remember the Cryo room in the Ishimura where he froze it? I guess you can't really say he killed it but he got rid of it anyways.

He comes out of nowhere, without any introduction or whatever and we have no idea where he ended up, they could've worked that out better.

Necromorphs don't need introductions when you're playing Dead Space.Besides that Last chapter was an absolute thrill because of him. There was no time to stop even for a few seconds because you knew he was on your tail.

That's what really scared the crap out of me.... It was really intense for me cause i never thought he would keep chasing me till end so there were plenty of occasion when i was trying to fight necromorphs and suddenly he just appeared behind me...... Died a lot of time at end just cause of that bastard.... Thanx god that i had a fully upgraded stasis and rig...:p

Oh man how could you not get that part! It's referring to the first game when Isaac is sitting on the seat working and then he looks at the seat beside him and his dead girlfriend attacks him (hallucination)and the game ends, only this time that doesn't happen. :D

BTW, i started Ghost of Tsushima, and it got me hooked within the first couple of minutes. I already know It's gonna be a memorable experience. This is how you make a proper Samurai game. Not that SJW game Ubisoft is making.

That's still higher than it's total play length. A 5 hour campaign for a $50 game is downright scammy.

Consoles were my main platform ever since Atari 2500. But now I think it's not worth it as PC especially with DLSS deliver far smoother performance. AW2 on console didn't even had ray tracing and ran below 30fps. Similar issues plagues DD2 on consoled.
The cross gen era really made people think 60fps would be a new standard lol

Welp, done with Hellblade 2. Thoroughly disappointed. Such a nothing burger after the unique experience of the first game.

I have a PS5 but I am not satisfied with the experience. I am currently saving for a 4080 64 GB rig soon. Bit will wait for Pro if performance improves. This gen has been so bad I don't plan on buying consoles anymore for AAA gaming.

Both PS and Xbox have been a flop this gen as they can barely maintain 30 fps in a lot of AAA games th.

As per WCCF Tech review, Xbox Series X doesn't even maintain a consistent FPS and sometimes drops into the mid-20fps range. That's unacceptable, tbh.

Score 1 for game pass. I wouldn't pay full price for this at retail either.

Just downloaded my first legit digital PC game on GoG at a discount of $8: Two Point Hospital. The same team behind Theme Hospital Two Point Studios now part of Sega. And I am having more fun than most recent AAA games except of course BG3.

Still, I don't like either Sony or Microsoft as they are focusing more on corporate greed than delighting customers. PC gaming is best of gaming and worth every penny.

PC Gamer score of 58/100 for Hellblade 2??? Is it really worse than Gollum that was 64/100? Microsoft games can't even come close to high scores of Sony exclusives apparently.

About the Microsoft (and Sony) debate, I feel both have become too greedy and losing their minds over corporate greed. Personally, I will never buy any console next gen and switch to PC gaming where democracy reins.
