This is officially happening, Samurai Jack is coming back. Adult swim has officially announced that it will begin airing a new season of the highly popular and critically acclaimed cartoon series that was unfortunately cancelled back in 2004. No details are revealed except that it will come in 2016 and the series creator, Genndy Tartakovsky, is returning to helm it again and will be featured in Adult Swim's Toonami portion.

CAN'T TELL YOU GUYS HOW HAPPY I AM. This was one of my favourite if not the most favourite cartoon back in the day. CANNOT FRIGGIN WAIT.

Jack has made up for 6/8ths of my childhood. I knew there was a recent comic series but this is a complete surprise. Shit feels surreal.

Being on Adult Swim could possibly give us more mature stuff in the series.
