MULTI Rumor: The Next Assassin's Creed May Feature Co-Op Play

If you were wondering where the franchise would go after Assassin's Creed III, a recent survey sent out by Ubisoft hints at what the company may be thinking.

The questionnaire, sent out to players and fans, is mostly the standard marketing material: How much did you enjoy competitor's products, how do you feel the launch of Assassin's Creed III went, things of that nature that are typical of surveys.

Two questions, however, got the attention of those who took it. The first was "Possibility for a friend to join the game to help me at any time during the solo mode", hinting at some type of co-op.

The second was also attention getting: It asked if fans wanted to see an Assassin's Creed game next year. It's something of an odd question as we've seen a new game in the franchise every year since 2009.


But seeing it in solo would certainly be a different take on the series' single-player mode.

Co op or not ubisoft with assassin's creed never ever fails to give me almost a heart attack when i see the first nice trailer of the next game. Damn im already wondering where its gonna be set and whats the story gonna be

We've already seen much of AC, and after ACIII, I really dont want it to continue, atleast not in that direction.

AC IV in a new setting or nothing at all. America is too damn boring. Either way, the series should take a break from 2013.

After what they did with AC3 ( Which i highly doubt it was being develop in 3 years period) i don't want another rushed AC. Bring some god damn creativity in the franchise like they did with brotherhood.
