RIP N-GAGE 2003-2010 Nokia shutting down n-gage

Nokia is shutting down its N-Gage platform in 2010.
Indeed very sad news for n-gage fanboys.
All the games which are schduled to lanuch in 2010 on N-Gage platform has been cancelled or they will launch in sis or sisx format which is standard s60 format through OVI store.

I say abt time n-gage devices suckd big time n lets get real n-gage as gaming platform never really took off!

Heck i can still remeber wen the first n-gage was been previewd it was hyped as the future of gaming.

Nokia failed to deliver what they promised through N-Gage platform bcz graphics r not up to par with iphone even worse than ngage one so that bound to happen.
Yes OVI is gud but not that like app store.

Ovi ftw.. n-gage was a games only platform, and required separate coding methods to make games work with it.. and also made it very hard for games to get through their checks before being published.. so it was bound to go down, making it so hard for developers..

Not a hard to believe news, as Nokia wasn't using nice strategies to run it, like limited supported mobile phones, expensive as compared to other platforms.... and moreover similar great games are published for symbian platform so why do they need an extra platform? just for a community??? I believe mobile gaming isn't just yet there to be able to compete with current gen console features, not even iPhone.
