Ok, in that case i will start.
The game starts with a flashback(Uncharted 2 anyone
) and it seems to be the same one which we saw in the demo except the whole sequence was executed differently. But it starts and ends at the exact place like it did in the E3 2012 demo.
The real game starts afterwards. I am really digging this new logo which is supposed to be full of cobwebs and spiders. The game has a very dark tone and a lot of people will definitely have trouble with the brightness if the demo was any indication.
Anyways, we do get the same choice that we got in the demo in the start. We can choose between Leon, Chris and Jake scenario. Split Screen mode is also available and we can enable or disable it when selecting scenarios. One odd thing was that i was able to enable/disable infinite ammo right off the bat. I was like WTF. I don't know if it enable infinite ammo or not but i just left it disabled.
I start it in split screen mode with my brother. We choose the Veteran difficulty for our first playthrough. What surprises me is that we can select even Professional difficulty from the start.
There is one troubling bit though. The game still felt too easy. Especially in case of Leon, the enemies are barely any tough. They are just the regular zombies. We both easily passed through the beginning by just using melee. The graphics definitely look better and there is almost zero screen tearing in the 360 version.
Ok, now the spoilers part. The Leon scenario starts with the Dragon's Dogma demo and leads into the Public Release Demo. Which mean the first hour of gameplay was entirely given in the demo
. It means i spoiled the game for myself.
Now for the good bit. The game is definitely optimized now. It looks a bit better and crisper than demo version. Framerate is also quite solid. People might remember that in the Leon DD demo, the elevator part had extremely choppy framerate. I am happy to report that it has been fixed and it feels pretty smooth now.
Lastly playing in co-op is damn fun. That is because each partner will have different QTE and interaction with environment. Take for example the recent demo, we had an event during which zombies were bursting through the door. Leon had to shoot the zombies while Helena had to keep the door closed. So we will see both interactions on split screen if we are playing co-op. One player will keep the door closed using QTE while other will have to shoot the zombies. So yeh, there is a huge difference unlike in RE 5.
The whole game feels different and the controls have been totally revamped. People who have played the demo will know this better. It doesn't feel anywhere like RE 4 or 5 and seems like an entire different game on it's own.
Ok that's all, i will now return to this thread once i finish the game. Hope you guys will enjoy it too
