PTCL problem

theres something seriously wrong here. My internets acting up all weird. Half the time, it wont open websites, and gives me the "unable to open webpage error" and sometimes it opens them just fine, but only after many tries. However, when I download files, they download just fine. Help me out here, whats wrong with my internet?

ptcl upgrading is in progress thats why speed is acting up all the day don't worry it will stable in some days

yar its not a problem with the speed. when it works, it works fine. but sometimes it doesnt work at all. thats what i dont get

if i show you my downloading speed you will be shocked
it give some time 10kb with 2-3 torrents downloading and sometime it gives 150kb with a single torrent

slack ppl won't text .. no matter if they do really know or not sure how to sms to mulitple users who are dying to get some info on a peek a boo game the PTCL are playing with them.

You said that Downloading works fine but its the Browsing which is acting weired right?

Its a DNS Problem.

Change your DNS from your Adapter Configuration, inside Windows Control Panel.

Use PTCL's 202.125.132.9 as Primary & Google's 8.8.8.8 as Secondary.
It'll solve the problem.

hey friend i m having same problem . i changed my dns and it is working better now. I m thinking to get rid of ptcl and get myself a link.net

i am having same problem .my download speed normal is 100 kb/s but suddenly reaches on 23 kb/s and remains here .on torrent single torrent speed is 230kb/s but if 2 torrents at a time its speed is 0kb/s and while torrent download surfing is very very poor almost unable to use internet while downloading torrent
i am on i mb student package

Same issue here And its not DNS problem, since this NEVER happened before and only happens sometime, I hope this upgrade is over soon
