power supply reading help

This is a 600 watt power supply and of that it can output 450 watts on the +12v rails. Since almost every part inside the the pc that requires a lot of power takes it off the 12v rail, 450 is the more relevant number.
Good psu desgins can ouput >90% of their rated power from the 12 rails and thus their rated output matches tht of their 12v output

That is only for the 3.3, 5 and +12v rails; add the power tht can be provided from -12v and 5vsb rails and it becomes a 600 watt psu. Unfortunately only 450 of those are really useful
my graphics card is gtx 260 which requires 500w minimum and on this power supply its my cpu is heating up, graphics card temp's okay, motherboard's okay but cpu is heating up and i dont know why, tried everything like thermal paste, switched heatsink, added 2 more fans, airflow is good. but cpu idle temp is over 70. id like to know if the power supply is the cause of it.
your psu is good enough to run your setup. post a screenshot of "hardware monitor" so we can check what can be issue.
I dont think it is your CPU ONLY that is heating up; your HDD temp is very high as well at 53Cmy graphics card's temp high too at the moment as i was playing a game..

2gb ddr3 ram

ichill inno3d gtx 260 gpu
I would look at the air flow dynamics in your case and if possible run the system off a desk.
You are getting 8.699v on 12v rails which means something fishy is going on, the volts on 12v rails should be close to 12 regardless of the load.....and by the way, can any body tell that why the hell I am not getting these 3.3v 5v and 12v column in my hardware monitor, even when I check show hidden option....?

HWmonitor usually tells the wrong ratings. so dont't rely on this software. AIDA64 somehow comperatively better Program for checking PSU voltages and Power ratings etc.

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit. -

I have heard that it is now unplayable in countries which do not support handful of third world countries not recognized by Sony like Pakistan. Steam is a true global platform.Then they cry that console gaming is dying.
