alright so i looked this forum and there was no thread like this (at least i think not). and i didn't want to put it under xbox 360 because it can be from PS3 too or wii. anywhoo, post your controller settings whether they're weird or not.

ps. to prevent spam, give comments to why you play like the way you do =)

for me:

xbox 360:

sensitivity (shooters)-medium
vibration: OFF
look: inverted
Halo 3: boxer
press trigger with (xbox)-switches between pointer and middle finger


i play inverted because i was always used to the whole flying a plane when up is down and down is up, and i carried that into when i play shooters. as for vibrations off, the constant rumbling of my controller throws off my aim, so it's better to leave it off. and boxer for i play inverted because i was always used to the whole flying a plane when up is down and down is up, and i carried that into when i play shooters. as for vibrations off, the constant rumbling of my controller throws off my aim, so it's better to leave it off. and boxer for halo 3: just tried something different and got used to it

I normally use the default configuration but I ALWAYS invert the pitch (Y AXIS). Some people wonder how I play inverted whereas I wonder how they play without inversion

Default mostly though i set the sensitivity to full in third person games.

BUT i always use Normal look in all games (except for flying games) NEVER inverted.

Default for me , sometimes i raise sensitivity in some games like gears of war ,army of 2

Default on Dualshock 3. Sometimes I increase the sensitivity on FPS such as COD4 or R2.

I iz a gud Halo 3 player too

Sensitivity: Default for most shooters (4 for Halo 3)
Vibration: off
Look: NOT inverted
Button layout: Default for all shooters (Bumper jumper for Halo 3)

If i start to play with inverted settings i am gonna throw up in a couple of minutes.

As totallyme247 said, I think it has to do something with the aircraft pitch thingy. You pull the lever to go up - so that feeling kinda sticks with ya. Or may be being a PC gamer has something to do with it? No idea.

Any stats on this?

yes, yes we are. we are just sick nasty like that =) we're better than humans who play uninverted =P

oh nice =) yeah i am/was pretty good too but i stopped playing H3 and moved onto Gears. yeah out of 4 of us, 3 play inverted, my lil bro's the odd one out =P

lol i have played both inverted and the default way... the thing is after sometime you get used to it!

btw i play at the highest possible sensitivity... that's the first thing i do before i start playin a game!... rest of the settings are default...

ps: in mw2 spec-ops, when i play in split-screen, i'm not able to increase my sensitivity beyond 'high' (there's no custom option available)... while in campaign or spec-ops solo, i can get it to 'insane' level (and i'm talkin about 360)...

hahah yeah back in xbc days i used to play on 10 sensitivity on halo 2.. haha fun times

as for the mw2 situation, sorry i don't know what's the deal because i haven't played enough of it to tell you how to fix it.

On CS, I remember I used to scale it back to 2.5.

And in the three COD games I've played, Low is the way to go.

Low sensitivity just makes for more precise aiming while sacrificing quick-tuning. But I like it that way.

And I HATE people who invert their joypad! I mean, what the hell! Especially when playing 4 player split screen; pain in the ass when I have to pause the game and un-invert it while I give someone 2-3 easy kills

ahah yeah i play on super slow sensitivity on halo like 1 or 2 max i really don't know why but yesss haha me and my bros played on 4 screen and it was a pain to switch the settings.

but, ppl who play inverted are AWESOME beasts who rise above the standards of normal gaming.
