I think restructuring, facelift, looks, a different color scheme etc not bringing any noticeable change or positive affect. What you need is to improve quality of service and material. Recruit good sensible guys to run administrative affairs. I have not so far visited all sections but moderators of marketplace are very unreasonable. They do not follow the rules but just want to show off that they got power to delete posts and ban people. Some hardware reviews I read are totally rubbish. I read a review where after a very long story the reviewer says its not available in Pakistan. How many Americans are members of this forum?
Marketplace has much lengthy and complicated rule-book and people don't follow it. Moderators attending only 10% of violations and rest of the things going unchecked. So many shopkeepers running big threads. Thus premiere stores facing a very tough time to compete with free sellers. Why shall one buy a premiere store if he can get same advantags as a common user? Gamer World user is just one example, I can identity 50 more. In short you are not protecting your paid franchises.
Marketplace moderators shall market as well advantages of premiere stores and convince shopkeepers to buy stores but they are happy with just authority of deleting posts thus doing nothing productive.
You can sell verified member sign (a colourful seal with a tick sign) to such marketplace users having 25+ trade score to build revenue and a proper regulation can be drafted on its mechanism if there are some active moderators having a real dedication to do something positive for this platform. You can provide escrow services to generate revenues. More revenue and more avenue to flourish and expand. As a first step choose right people for the right job.
