Yes I know what you mean, RE2 is using some HUD and design elements from RE7 which is A-OK for how quick the turnaround for this game was.
They both run into unique NPC's, most of the areas they both visit are the same but there are around 20% unique areas in their campaigns which only one character visits.
You need to beat one full run (i-e Claire 1st run, Leon 2nd run .. or Leon 1st run, Claire 2nd run) to get the complete story. Don't worry about the 1st/2nd run part, once you play the game you'll know what that means.

How well RE2 is doing in terms of the sales? any numbers yet? because RE2 strong sales will encourage capcom to remake RE3 and Code veronica.

The gameplay is generic & outdated in that game. And it's 5 hour campaign is too short to enjoy.

BTW, i started Ghost of Tsushima, and it got me hooked within the first couple of minutes. I already know It's gonna be a memorable experience. This is how you make a proper Samurai game. Not that SJW game Ubisoft is making.

L LegacyGamerGuy:Consoles were my main platform ever since Atari 2500. But now I think it's not worth it as PC especially with DLSS deliver far smoother performance. AW2 on console didn't even had ray tracing and ran below 30fps. Similar issues plagues DD2 on consoled.
