[h=1]Horizon Zero Dawn patch will give you more options in photo mode[/h]

[h=2]Photographers, start your cameras[/h]

Horizon Zero Dawn’s next update will expand the already robust suite of features available in the game’s beloved photo mode, developer Guerrilla Games announced today.
The version 1.20 patch, which is scheduled to go live next week, will deliver unspecified improvements to the camera controls in the photo mode. It will also bring in three new image filters; options to pose Aloy, to put certain facial expressions on her and to have her look directly at the camera; and the ability to put the phrase “greetings from” on a screenshot, to make it look like a postcard from the 31st century. Plus, you photographers out there will be able to superimpose a three-by-three grid on images, to help you adhere to the rule of thirds (see below).

Guerrilla is also including other community-requested features in the 1.20 patch. You’ll now be able to filter the in-game map to enable or disable the display of certain icons. A new slider will allow you to adjust the sensitivity of the camera. The patch will add extra customization options for the HUD, and let you hide Aloy’s headgear. Horizon Zero Dawn’s inventory is getting an upgrade, too, with options to categorize and sort items as well as the ability to sell an entire stack of items from Aloy’s inventory by double-tapping the square button. You can see the full list of bug fixes and new features in the patch notes.
Finally, Guerrilla said that Horizon Zero Dawn owners in North America will be able to play the game with Spanish dialogue by downloading a free voice-over pack from the PlayStation Store.

So looking forward to this. I hope GG take some notes from CDPR in terms of how content rich a DLC should be made.

Yasssss !!

Supposedly the story involves a rogue Cauldron producing weird mish mash of robots in the frozen wilds. From some pics people have gathered this is taking place in Montana. The main game took place in what is now Colorado (all the military bases etc).

Great game just got better. Someone remember this at the end of the year for best post-game launch support.

New patch adds New Game +, Extra Hard difficulty, brand new tier of adept equipment, camo facepaints and 2 more trophies (which will not invalidate the current platinums any of us have :p)

We were so excited to be able to announce the upcoming Horizon Zero Dawn expansion, The Frozen Wilds, at E3 last month. As we were wrapping Horizon Zero Dawn, we had a lot of ideas for new characters, quests, and places for Aloy to discover, so we started to develop The Frozen Wilds. We can’t wait for you to experience the dangerous frigid lands to the north!

While we’re hard at work on The Frozen Wilds, we have also been working on something else…
As of today, you can download patch 1.30 which includes additional fixes to progression issues which some of you may have encountered. However, it also includes the highly anticipated New Game+ option.

With New Game+ you will be able to relive the adventures of Aloy without losing your character progression and your collected inventory. You won’t be able to progress beyond the level cap of 50, but you can still collect XP during your adventure.

We have also added updated versions of existing weapons and outfits with an extra modification slot at your disposal. These will not come cheap and will set you back some extra shards.

Before embarking on a new quest you can manually adjust the difficulty level to your liking. For players who seek an extra challenge, we are also introducing an ‘Ultra Hard’ difficulty. This new setting will enhance machine senses and behavior and will limit player health regen and other additional smaller tweaks. Players who decide to embark on the Ultra Hard path will not have the option to switch it to a less difficult setting.

New Game+ also comes with two new Trophies and extra unlockable content that gives players the ability to add facepaint or change Aloy’s Focus.

Just got the Platinum trophy for this game. There were no slow moments for me; I enjoyed this game through and through. I was alternating between Horizon and Gravity Rush 2 but after Maker's End, it was Horizon every time I opened my PS4. Hard difficulty gives you just the right amount of fun with a challenge. The first Tallneck I scaled, I knew this game was something special (and that was just 2-3 hours into the game). The story was great too and the game ended perfectly, imo.

The stories behind the collectibles were interesting as well, which is nice to see because very few games give you a backstory for collectibles. (TLOU did it remarkably with Ish's story in the notes scattered around, really made you care about a dude you never get to see). And holy shit, the thrill from beating a Thunderjaw with not much health remaining is on another level. :p I'm reallyyy looking forward to the DLC.

Is Aloy's spear upgradeable? If not, why wouldn't they include it? Its one hell of a weapon and it would have been great if it had more variants like it had for Bows and slingshots etc.

The game has been perfect in every aspect. Be it gameplay, beautifully crafted world, the graphics and an amazing storyline.

The only thing that put me down a little was

Spoiler: show

At the end of the game, when Hades flies back to Sylens. Since they had depicted Hades as a computer virus gone rogue, therefore, i dont think they should have made it fly back to Sylens. Would have been better if it was transferred via something else. It kind of takes the game on to "magical" route that had actually held its roots into science throughout the game.

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.

tbh gaming industry as a whole is failing much like tech industry. They have buckled down too much to Corporate suites then relying on passionate and innovative people. A corporate only believes in financial growth and shareholders.
