John describes a really weird issue in the game right now that if you have a 120hz 1080p or 1440p display, the game tries to run all modes in 120hz, even the RT on/performance and off modes.
So the best way to get a smooth 60 FPS experience (for the non 120hz modes) is to run the game on 60hz TV until they patch in a 60 FPS lock option in the game.
- If the game detects your display supports 120Hz, it will ONLY output in the resolutions that the 120Hz mode supports. For example, if you have a 4K TV that does 120Hz in 1080p, you'll never be able to run the game at 4K, only 1080p.
The only RDNA 2 features it lacks are the Direct X based ones (eg Direct Storage, DirectML) which of course aren't available on PS5's custom API's. The 'only console to fully utilize RDNA2' is an oxymoron statement, and also patently false because neither Xbox consoles utilize the infinity cache.
It's just a marketing spiel.
In practice the difference between PS5 and XBSX is even lesser than PS4 Pro and XBOneX, so most games will be the same with 19-20 difference.
To me this next gen port really shows that the RE Engine isn't all what its made out to be wrt optimization.. It struggles on the base consoles as well. Moreover, not sustaining 60fps even without ray tracing has no excuse on the new consoles. Doesn't bode well for RE8 based on these results.
no idea how that is a steal by wasting 3500 rupees per month and for games that are removed before you can finish them off.xbox gamepass is garbage with no local prices

Just finished Diablo 4 season in hurry to play Fallout 4 but gamepass released another banger in the form of Star Wars on April 25th. Gamepass is a steal man.
Is it just me or people lately seem to defend every bad game design decision made by the devs and try to give bullshit reasons for that? Or perhaps it's because I'm on reddit and discord
