First time since 2005 that neither Djoker, Fed, or Nadal are in a Grand Slam final.

That is a staggering statistic.

I hope NIshikori goes on and wins this, but I think Cilic will be too strong for him.

Was talking about Nishikori. It seems to be a trend in tennis these past few years, the underdog takes a brilliant win against one of the top 3 or 4, and is demolished in the next round.

Anyway, doesn't matter now that Federer is out. I was really surprised by that. Maybe Fed and Djok were already looking towards the final and not on the job at hand.

The final should be an interesting one.

There guys are just one-slammers kinda type. Luck favors them once and you don't see them winning the big trophy again. Unfortunately, players like Del Potro, Cilic, are all included in this type. They're playing for the prize money. They don't have the consistency in them to play against the top 4.
