Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica
So I had very high hopes from this series considering everyone and their dog loved it. The art was certainly something that was stopping me but I quickly got over it. Now the series itself isn’t so bad, but it isn;t as great as people were making it out to be. I mean first off the main protagonist was annoying as shit to me, the amount of whining she does is just too much. I mean come on, she makes so many statements yet rarely takes action.
Then there is Sayaka Miki, she was an alright character but boy did she get on my nerves one or two times. She definitely had her corny moments. But atleast she was tolerable unlike our protagonist who was just good for nothing.
Magi Madoka had a dark tone, it was different tone altogether but it did not live up to the hype I was expecting it to be. I’m aware people cried after watching this, my only expression was ‘What the F?’. Really it did not instigate any emotions in me. I want to write good things about it, but only ranting comes into my mind after seeing this. It had its good moments and all but again, it did not live up to expectations.
