Nokia Lumia 730 Or Android Phone?

Hi guys,
i m planning to buy a new smart phone in the range of 30k. and i have just found a new nokia device Nokia Lumia 730 which is attracting me a lot but its a windows phone not a android phone. so i wanted to know is lumia windows phones are good and also is this new Lumia 730 good for its price or i should go for android phones in same budget with good specs? i know there are many huawei phones in same range with good specs. but now i wanted to windows phone but i have heard windows phones are not that good so i want to know what you guys think of this new lumia phone? and the processor and gpu chip in this device is good? and 1gb ram enough or not?

Windows Phones are complete and utter shit. Barely any apps and the ones that exist are terrible. For 30k you can get an excellent Android phone. A new Moto G for example.

Getting something worse for the sake of change makes no sense. Trust me, I've been in your place, wanting something 'new' and getting Windows Phone. You don't want to do that, especially considering that Lumia phones have zero resale.

Blackberry z10 is a fair deal if you want some change , also the price is within 20k , otherwise u can get lg gpro , lg g2 ,moto x,nexus 5 , mi3,htc one m7,galaxy s4,xperia z etc etc etc in 30k

well i dont have a heavy usage. i just do some callings/texting.. wifi some gaming. the games i would like to play candy crush subway surfer temple run. stick cricket.
And i know android phones are way better then WP. and i m not a blackberry guy. but i will see he phones listed by winchester khan...

Windows Phones Store doesn't have Candy Crush saga or Stick Cricket. So you will be missing out on these games, more so if you're addicted.

Wifi browsing, texting, making calls etc, work perfectly fine. I found the WP environment very user friendly. Not only does it look gorgeous and different coming from Android, general usage is seamless.

So unless you are a hard-core enthusiast who can't do without his tons of apps, I would definitely recommend the jump to Windows Phone.

and btw does windows phone support playing of mkv file ? as in android it supports playing of almost all the formats. but i heard WP does not support playing of mkv file format. so how can i play mkv on WP ? and also i m not much of a hard-core user... and Viber. Skypye.. Whatsapp facebook are my main apps to use. other apps i dont use much.

You Can Actually run Android Apps on Blackberry Z10.

Moliplayer Pro plays all video formats but the app itself is behind a paywall. Rest of the essential apps like Skype, Viber, Whatsapp, Facebook, Twitter etc. work perfectly fine.

yup , Yasir is right , i own a blackberry z30 and it runs every possible android game and app , snap is available as full play store client , also amazon app store is bundled with new update , the runtime on blackberry devices supports android 4.3 , candy crush , stick cricket work perfect on my z30 too. The os is really gr8 and is a pleasure to use , keyboard is excellent , camera and screen are also good,and support for z10 is still going strong

Bear in mind that apps like Skype, Facebook, Twitter, Viber, WhatsApp are far inferior on Windows Phone than on Android. In the end it depends on what you want to do on a phone.

And i wont buy blackberry.. but yes the device looks good but not interested in blackberry

He is right. But I use those apps all the time and they work perfectly all right. It would be folly to buy a Rolls Royce over a Toyota if one's requirement is simply grocery shopping. Both get the job done and in good time.

I never regretted jumping from Android to WP. I use Tapatalk, Skype, Viber, texting, calling, Facebook, mail, CamScanner extensively. No issues in the least.

well brother i m satisfied with ur comment. and i have made up my mind to grab windows phone. but i think i will go for lumia 735 which has same specs which are i nlumia 730. But lumia 735 is single sim with nano sim support and its a 4g phone. and lumia 730 is dual sim phone with 3g support. so I think i should grab lumia 735 instead of lumia 730. but if lumia 735 will be expensive like around between 35 to 40k then i will grab 730

but this time i dont want to be a android guy once again.. i want some thing change. so thats why i plan on trying Windows Phone.

then why not a newer lumia 730 or lumia 735 ? but a friend of mine also using lumia 720 for some time now and he also said that 720 is a good mobile. but sadly he lives in other country or else i should have checked his phone.. but soon i will go to the market and see if there are any windows phones for sell used ones so i can try them before buying
