I bought new 2tb Seagate HDD yesterday & it died with in 3 hours...i should have gotten WD Green

i bought from the only Seagate distributor in Pakistan named Marsons Computers in Islamabad...

My experience with Seagate has been good so far and had no issues at all.
May be you got unlucky.
By the way i prefer WD myself.

Have a Seagate drive working for 3 years now and still going u must have been unlucky to get a faulty drive but hey u can claim the warranty

Do mention your Complete System Specs, including your PSU. Also tell me if there was a power surge.

How did you conclude the drive's death?

From where have you purchased it and for how much? Claim the warranty.

I understand Seagate is highly reliable. My experience with Seagate remained excellent.
