Long story short my PSU's dead and I need the cheapest possible replacement. Here are my specs:

65nm Intel Pentium dual-core (E2160)
ASUS G41 chipset motherboard
Kingston 2GB DDR3 RAM
XFX 9600GT
2x 7200RPM hard-disks
1x optical drive.

Here are the products I've picked out from the Galaxy store in order of ascending price:

http://www.thermaltake.com/products-model.aspx?id=C_00001755

http://www.thermaltake.com.au/Products/PowerSupply/W0316/Litepower500W.aspx
http://www.corsair.com/power-supply-units/builder-series/builder-series-cx430.html

I need advice on these specific models if anyone has any of them currently or used to, as in how well they handled the load, reliability, any sound issues etc. Need info quickly since I'm planning on buying the replacement unit tomorrow.

Thanks in advance.

Any cheap ass China can handle that system without any issues.

But if you want to buy the best out of the ones you mentioned, I'd say go for Antec 430W.

But as I said, ANY good 400W china PSU can run it easily.

brother you are using a 9600gt and a dual core pc setup this means that your pc consume about 200-300w of power so it is better to get a branded power supply so it will help you in future too if you upgrade your pc in future. get a branded 400w (any brand but not china) psu. and you are good to go. and if you want to purchase a new psu then purchase xigmatek 400w in 3500 from iamextreme.net

which has 375watts supply(with 1, 6pin)
