Need Suggestion for Proc C2d E4600

alright this one goes out to the hardware gurus on pg..
i am gettin this proc c2d e4600 2.4ghz 2mb cache for RS 4500 from a friend of mine.
the processor has no warranty but is in excellent working condition (no warranty coz he got it frm uk)
so i wanted to knw if its really worth buyin this processor?
i will be buyin a brand new mobo later on but plz provide me with a suggestion if its really worth getting this one..

Yup buy it. It will do 3Ghz easily even with a average O.C board.

E4600 for Rs.4,500 is a very good price. You should buy it. But if you want local warranty than E5200 for Rs.6,000 is an excellent alternative.

^ yea bro get it ASAP.And yes as nomad said E5200 is a great overclocker,people have even overclocked it to 4.0ghz,Inshallah will be getting it soon

At stock speeds it's still fast but overclocking is a plus with with that processor.
