NED'ians on PG

Thats a good idea for a party. ... Our own party. Cuz this one organized by 3rd year students sucked.

watching u kids talk about NED reminds me of my own CIS dept.. *sigh* those were the times. now it has been like more than 5years since i passed out..

I know dude. We have so much fun in NED But this week would be a shithole for us. 2 assignments, 3 papers ... And have to stay till 3-4 PM on mon, tues, wed to take classes <__<

We rarely get a free spot in the gymnasium nowadays. Can't play badminton because its full etc so we play football or volleyball

And the food is just awesome. But in every place, there is a downside. Mech is slightly expensive compared to other canteens. The canteen beside the Student's Affairs building offers awesome smoked chicken rolls for cheap. The canteen near the gym gives Jumbo cold drink bottles so one person in our group buys that and makes use of it for very cheap in the break and zuhr times. Best thing is that there is no more feeling of "maan I don't feel like going to Uni today". Because the friends are fun, teachers are awesome (apart from Thermo teacher lol), and the place is just so big that you find out something new about it every day lol...

Lucky for you.. you've got good teachers(your thermo teacher is still better than ours..) much better than what we got

Bari galat jagah khola hua hai Fries wala canteen ... Gymnasium say badminton/football khel kar ao aur fries khanay ka dil chanay lagta hai lol. Calories regained

never make fun of MY NED.. i dont care if im studying at a different uni in Germany. my feelings for NED will never change.. its the best uni there is.. period

Yes NED offers bachelors of computer science (BCIT) and Software Engineering as well.

Got admission in NED Mechanical Engineering Dept.
Hopefully,everything goes fine.
I heard Mech Engr is the worst dept. when it comes to ragging and all :s
I had a choice to opt b/w electrical and mech.I chose Mech and I think I did right. [MENTION=13435]zainu[/MENTION] ?

Welcome to NED. Yup there is badass ragging in Mechanical department cuz its dominated by males. Good luck.

Regarding decision, you went where you were interested in. Mechanics, Computers, Electrical/Electronics, Petroleum, Civil etc are the best engineering fields right now. If you have the skills, you will have a great future InshaAllah.

BTW, I can bet that this will be the most fun (yet extremely frustrating) 4 years of your life !

And which is the best canteen near my dept.?
My bro (electronics) said SFC canteen is good.
