Doesn't want a Sammy does Gollum.............

Any impressions on the LG Optimus range of phones? They're cheap especially the Optimus 4X and it's a Quad-core!
:(
Optimus 4X looks good to me and the price is great too (32k on homeshopping) but LG sets usually have low resale value so it won't be a that good investment, better get the One X or Nexus 4.

Wow Chhowni
Resale is no issue. I've been using my Defy for two years now and don't have plans to sell it any time soon.
Or even sell it at all. lol

Let's say a person likes a closed environment when it comes to OS but is adamant on getting an Android. Wouldn't a Nexus 4 be overkill in that scenario?

I'm about to finalize on the One X (used). But I've looked at the Xperia SP and it looks promising for a brand new phone. HAMMER of THOR JJDoctor

Get a One X man. I know three people who bought Nexus 4's and they all hated them.

Xperia SP seems to be a bit better than HTC one X. Plus, you get Timpescape which is loads better than the HTC sense UI.
Battery seems to pack a lot of juice. I would say, go for it.

Would you recommend the Xperia SP? It is available for 40k on HSN.
the reviews and specs are awesome... the battery time is good... benchmarks are better than xperia Z... would it help that i am also buying it for my sister?? the price is good too... what is not to like... although i have not used it so you can always take my advice with a pinch of salt...

Loads better than Sense UI? :-S

HTC Sense is the best designed UI... it's just that people get bored of using one UI... that doesn't mean timescape is better...

we still have to admit it gives the most user friendly and coolest experience...

Dont know about SP but im using One X since December 2012 and im quite satisfied with the phone

Sense 4+ is an excellent UI and is very snappy from performance point of view
Battery will last 1 day easily

UI's are a matter of personal preference.
I have used both sense and timescape and IMO timescape is much better and faster.
More user friendly too.

my mom had HTC vivid previously, she liked that phone a lot but it's size was uncomfortable for her so I bought her Xperia Live with Walkman ,

she loves that now but daily complains about its UI being very unfriendly... she says HTC vivid was very easy to operate but not Xperia Live..

Ottoman the reviews of the xperia sp are quite good and plus its new a phone with a fantastic build quality , excellent battery life (battery bigger than the xperia z . Though the draw back that it suffers is its screen ( its viewing angles are not that great) and its camera isnt "top notch". otherwise it seems like a great buy! seems to be worth around 35k. in a few weeks im sure it will come around that price!

Xperia sp is good choice bt its camera is 8 mp and price is hight for now.if u wanna buy sp then wait a month it wil be around 35 like xperia t drops to 37.if u want urgent then nthing beter then xperia sl.got 12 mp camera I am using xperia s and its camera is out clas .display is excelent I compare my phone with s3 .except scren size nd quad core my phone was beter in other aspects like display quality. Camera design internal memory and it gave a premium feel while holding in hand. And price is 34k new so I think its beter deal to buy xperia sl
