The problem is our local culture! In interior Sindh, Punjab, KPK, Baluchistan n Gilgit Baltistan, Kailash, Chitral area women have been used for daily labor, fetching water, bearing children etc. Its neither our religion nor constitution, its farsooda cultural traditions. But Malala Nobel prize or the other women who got an Oscar will not change this, only education n rule of law can! These awards only benefit the individual not the nation or country!

Whatever the reason, the fact remains. And she stands for education. I can understand that the award benefits no one, but I can't understand why you have to be so cynical about it.

I doubt everybody in Swat was present at the scene of the shooting or had access to Malala in her injured state. So all those conspiracy theories are mere hearsay and should be treated as such.

Evidence that supports her being shot is overwhelming and thinking otherwise would mean living in denial. If only burying one's head in the sand improved matters, Pakistan (and also the entire Muslim world for that matter) would be the world's best place to live.

There is no dearth of drawing room experts in every field imaginable on the Internet. Here we have some forensic experts overlooking the importance of bullet trajectory. According to the official report, it went through the left of her skull (shattering that part in the process), the length of her face, and into her shoulder. Her brain wasn't even touched by the bullet by chance/God's mercy. Rather, the fragmented bone was driven into her brain. Still, she is quite lucky to survive without brain damage (or perhaps it'd be more appropriate to commend the doctors and our army, for they are purportedly responsible for saving her), but I doubt she's the only one who has survived a serious life-threatening event.

And she was shot with a Colt 45.

I know a person who survived after being shot by an AK47 in the head. His head is deformed and he was shot 16 times but he is still alive.
I don't know what this debate is trying to prove in the first place. But anyone's portraying this land of pure a perfect place for the women living here needs to get their facts straight. We all know where we as a nation stand when it comes to women's right in Pakistan.

Yes not everybody was present there but the area where she was shot is not huge and word spreads.The doctor in Mingora said her wounds were not fatal but later that statement was also changed.Dozens of children die because of drone and other terrorist attacks but they never get mentioned and we dont even get to know their names.Malala herself is a conspiracy.

I dislike how she was used by external forces to further an agenda but surviving the bullet isn't the only reason behind Malala winning this award. She has publicly spoken in favour of and campaigned for girls' right to education the world over. That, in itself, is a commendable feat.

Women are an oppressed gender. This is a fact. Sure guys like Edhi and many other philanthropists/humanitarians might be more deserving of such an award but that doesn't mean we belittle Malala's effort to create awareness on important issues like girls right to education and women empowerment.

She is Satan's spawn. Malala is nothing but a creation of various external forces. I write blogs about empowering women as well, I also help educate the underprivileged where's all my fame and my honorary Canadian Citizenship and my Nobel Prize? The only reason we all know about Malala is because she is just a tool that advances the agenda of the aforementioned external forces. Edward Snowden got terrifically snubbed, that is the truth.

And we praise her to get a nobel prize for this cauz ? where Pakistan is being potrated as a militant state where girls are shot for promoting education. Lastly she talks about education and human rights, she didnt even spoke a single word against isreal militancy who killed thousands of children in gaza and onwards. Where did the humanity go ?
