played this game today and i cant wait for end august to come.
Ran the benchmark and got RANK A. Average fps were 100

50fps average with physx off , 25fps with high, 30fps average with medium physx setting

I just brought the windows menu with alt-ctrl-del and selected task manager from it. As soon as you click it and it goes back to the desktop the brightness is restored

Run it with physx offOk i just tried the game on max settings.....enabling physx to high gives me 18fps
It's only a demo so bugs shouldn't worry too much.
Shouldn't this be kinda of merged with the official thread ? Or do we stay away from the lower castes...i mean consoles

^Nahin yaar. Even turning AA off doesn`t help in the least. Should I completely wipe off my drivers and do a fresh install? I heard it helps.
Honestly i am no expert on these things especially nvida cards/drivers. If the problem is across multiple games then yeah re-install the drivers, even better install the ones that you remember to be most stable, i have personally found sometimes OLDER drivers are actually more stable/better then new ones.
well for ati owners who want physics ..
if you have a single card set up and can afford a mid range nvidia gpu for physics then for it . though i am currently on tri fire and downloading the demo now will post the results with and with out physics . coz geting even a 9600gt / 9800gt for dedicated physics goes a long way in improving frame rates .

@Muhd86...bro im using a Ati 4850 rite now....i got a spare Nividia 7800gt, can it be combined with my ati card to work as a phsx for it ?
yes its possible ,. going to do the same , just waiting for the download to finish so that i can bench it .7800 gt is way to old brother , a min of 9600gt or 9800gt is a must for decent physics - though i can be wrong here but the stronger the card the batter .

I made this specifically for performance related discussion and benchmarks which only apply to PC gamers.
And folks, Nvidia released the latest PhysX drivers. Latest than the ones that come with mafia 2. Go grab them form the website.
brother like i said its possible i have done this before with dual 5850 crossfire and 9800gt for physics - a great performance booster in physics games ... there is a complete physics thread in the hardware section and latest version of the physics MOD is now avaliable as well - only 10 % of my download is left after which i will bench and post results -
but for physics i am going for a decicated evga 9800gt oc edition card and dual 5750 iceq crossfire .. i think its more then enough for 1080p .

guys, i am having an issue i just downloaded the demo but my 15 inch monitor is giving me an Frequency out of range error but i can hear the sounds on the background. Since i have given my LCD to a friend who came from Abroad for a few days. Can i make it work on monitor some how to justify my act of generosity. : P

L LegacyGamerGuy:Consoles were my main platform ever since Atari 2500. But now I think it's not worth it as PC especially with DLSS deliver far smoother performance. AW2 on console didn't even had ray tracing and ran below 30fps. Similar issues plagues DD2 on consoled.
