Dear all,

I have finally decided after 2 years and 3 probations that I want to leave my institute and go back home. Now i am confused on what I should go for. Most university entry dates have passed so I have very limited options. I can either register for ACCA, go for Computer science at IBA, or do something else. I don't really know what to do. I have never taken a commerce subject so i don't really know what ACCA is like, but I've heard its not that easy, and one has to spend a lot of time studying everyday and roting things. I am moving more towards ACCA though because I have studied engineering economy and i am generally good with management and business related subjects. Please don't ask me what my interest is or what not. I honestly have no interest in studies, i just want to get through with them and get on with life and a job. I am leaving here because the amount of mental stress isn't worth the degree here, most of the graduates are jobless. I want one with ultimate scope, and I can bust my ass for that.

What exactly are you interested in? This might be a good time for some introspection, decide what you really love to do, take a few commerce classes or anything else you think you might be interested in and then make the final decision. it is EXTREMELY important you study something you love.

Don't worry too much about job scope and how easy or hard it is. Even if something is easy and has awesome job scope, if you're not interested, you will suck at it.

Care to tell which uni did you leave and what field?

As you said, you're good with business and management, go for BBA from SZABIST.

No. Admissions for Computer Science, Accounting and Finance, Economics and Mathematics, and Social Science at IBA will start in December again. BBA admission is only conducted for fall session.

I'm studying CS at IBA; it's great! (y)
