Is there is any sponsership for expert E-gamer in pakistan ?

my question is that
is there is any sponsership for e-gamers in pakistan?
or not
if not then why?
I have noticed that other countries support there youngester also in extra activities
but here in pakistan we all are only concentrated to Study, an ever one want that we shud
be made as geek of studies
when we became sucessful in any game, then no one becames happy but if we got one position in
paper then we get many prizes from family
in pakistan as other games like circket, football, hockey etc are being promoted,
y not E-gaming?
y not youngester?
Yes it is a point that study is more important
but if we are a good student then when we play game
why everyone advises to study while people thngs that sitting free is better than games y?
in our country why gaming zones an games are considered as just wasting of money?:crying:

Some gaming zones sponsor their official team.
I dont know about Nokia or Intel or AMD sponsoring some minor team.

Only the teams that make it to the WCG finals get some attention and get some sponsors.

BTW, Intel have been sponsoring projects here in PAK for quite some time now and people have been winning 10000$ and 20000$ prizes for technology and software innovations.

a lot of pro teams are being sponsered for the past couple of years.. immz, incredis, havoc, and a lot more i think.. but if you want to be an e-gamer and do that for the rest of your life, then good luck dude.. id suggest grow up and do something better.. cause e-gaming isnt going to keep paying the bills for ever..

In an age of economic recession, who will **PAY** for playing games...Not possible my dear(for sure, not at least in Pakistan)...

In fact, abroad too, the perception is same to some extent excluding some big wigs..

Moreover, I myself do not see anything to be paid for playing games!!

Why you guys take games so seriously ? It's a extra-curricular activity. Keep it this way and besides also concentrate on your studies. In Pakistan, Unfortunately "agar koi cheez thori mashhoor hoti hai tou bas uske peeche hi par jate hain" e.g; Facebook.

How about sponsoring yourself? I mean why dont you come up with a radical new idea that sells...Of course every little pacman player cannot payed for or sponsored by some organization...You have to stand out from the crowd,and do something that makes money...Too many hours of video gaming are discourage all over the world,not only Pakistan.Here in UK there are no Gaming cyber cafes,but in Pakistan there are many...Saying that "codemasters" the makers of Dirt I and Dirt II were a bunch of British teenagers who started coding games from their basement,and sold them on their own..it was many years later,after they had coded and sold a few succesful games that corporate giants backed them with money..Can you do something like that? Can you code a game,release a beta teaser on Download.com...and when it becomes popular,you will find many sponsors from home and abroad....But like i said,nobody will want to spend money on just another COD or WOW,player.

For a start..Download this software. I know of only this one,but there may be many,even better ones out there...Its free and its a shareware...Try making an interesting game with this...Another idea is that there should be a dedicated section for video game developers on PG...Softwares like the one above are readily available,easy to use and with some luck and ingenuity interesting games can be created...
