IF you download a Michael Jackson song from any pirated/not-paying website, you will get FIVE years in prison. That's one year more than the doctor who killed him. ~

freedom of speech was being abused on sites like facebook and i am absolutely in favour of this law, though i dont know all the details about it yet.......
Are you out of your mind? Do you know what threat this poses to the ever-growing internet society? HELL, THE INTERNET IS FINE THE WAY IT IS, I do not need any acts on my internet. Internet is supposed to be open for freedom of expression and speech but if they take that away, I am sure, MANY PEOPLE WILL GET PISSED OFF including myself. Restrict me and I shall go on a fucking rampage.

If they agree with the bill they will be sued by thousands of domain over questionable content and literally millions of domains will withdraw their accounts from them.
If they don't agree with the bill, they will get hit every time some domain goes down in the name of piracy.
It will also hurt online gaming too. They are also against it. Specially HALO team.
Youtube, flikr, vimeo, all torrent sites, anything with unpaid content, even containing single non copyright image will go down, This will be the end of internet.
even sites which are not hosted in america? Afaik america can stop google / DNS servers / search engines basically any site to mention the so called "illegal" site but the site CAN exist if its outside the USA, no?
I am pretty sure advanced users/pirates will find a way around its the normal casual users that'll suffer.
Its about the freedom of speech, privacy rights, freedom of not having to be nailed down by petty legislation that suffocates you to death.
Nearly ALL the social media sites are American, nearly all the biggest "funny" websites are American, not to mention the online merchants, all the mp3, videos, sharing websites that are hosted right out 'Merica.
SOPA and PIPA going online will mean a great divide of communication between people every where.
and oh, YOUTUBE, WIKIPEDIA, FACEBOOK and almost all social networking sites will be GONE if SOPA goes through.
Yea thats what i mean only the casual users of normal "legal" websites would suffer whereas pirates would still find ways to torrent/download illegal stuff. America can shutdown ANY website which even mentions an illegal website. They don't even need to post even lets say someone posts a comment like "i love pirating off thepiratebay" on facebook or somthing could get facebook in legal trouble. This is basically SOPA. Down with that shit it wouldn't pass anyways. They can't fuck with the internet. Last i heard after the sopastrike yesterday 20 or so senators backed off the bill.
The only valid thing from his pov he said in the video is AC dead since Black Flag. According to woke police that game was woke too. Welsh man in West Indies. So atleast he's consistent I guess lol
Did y'all see the new Assassin's Creed trailer? They finally made a AC set in Japan & then they put a negro as the male protagonist. Ubisoft is taking cues from Disney, and it isn't gonna end well for them, just like Disney. Go woke, go broke!
Phil keeps talking about breaking barriers to gaming, making it accessible on all platforms yada yada, while killing competition and creativity at the same time. the fact that i actually believed him for a second lol
Phil should be held responsible for this shitfest too, just like Sarah, but it's highly likely that these decisions are coming from Satya. And this isn't even the end of it. More closures are coming.
if we are moving towards more and more popular trash across platforms that make billions for companies, I'm happy with all the barriers and exclusivity because at least that brings some pressure to create good stuff.

"These changes are not a reflection of the creativity and skill of the talented individuals at these teams or the risks they took to try new things" ... seems to me that's exactly what it is
