I was about to order from play-asia and cost of 120gb hdd on play-asia is 189$, then i thought why not just upgrade it for just 3900rs and then i have upgraded.

ok, i think i have a problem. This update does not contain the "Avatar Update".

Can anyone with a banned console who didn't sign into xbox live confirm this?

I can confirm that this update has avatars. I just created one. Its cool. The link is posted by Shayan bhai so its legit.And i did some research and visited some other forums and people have this update running on their 360's like a charm. Just like me.

i have updated my console via this update even though i had the leaked version of NXE installed but i got no avatars with this.

yaar yahi masla chal raha hai, I downloaded this update and got no avatars.

the reason i think is that i had downloaded the leaked nxe and installed it.

The 7mb leaked version is not the problem. I installed the leaked version as well and than updated my console with the link provided and everything is working fine.

I just updated my 360 a few minutes ago with this update. Avatars are working fine . I updated from the first leaked NXE.

by media i think u mean divx capability. try playing a divx file while connected to live and it will download it automatically.

if you don't have live than u need to connect your hardrive to your PC and use xplorer360 to transfer the codecs manually. a guide is available on the net.
