How to get a NEW 16V AC adapter

I need an AC adapter/transformer which can give out put as follows
Output Voltage: 16V AC
Amps: 500mA
Something like this but this was 120v input which got busted on our 220V mains otherwise would have used it with 220v to 120v transformer/converter. It's not repairable as well.

I tried searching in Rawalpindi College road but didn't find anything nor anyone could make it. Any electronics geek who can guide me if it's possible to be made or purchased locally.

I think you can find it from Hall Road ideally, I'm not too sure about where in Rawalpindi though. but hall road has ALOT of these rare adapters and power supplies.

I tried contacting schiit about this n they said nothing else will work n a new one just costs $10 from schiit website but getting it to Pakistan will be an issue

I have this adapter but I'm too chicken to use this 300 ac adapter which might burn Magni 2

Nah man, DO NOT USE this adapter. you'll definitely damage your magni2, these audio equipments are VERY sensitive especially when it comes to power supply. I think the best option is to order from schiit. and have them ship it to Pakistan. I don't think it'll be an issue, they do ship international. max you'll have to pay extra shipping and maybe like rs. 2-300 custom charges. but thats the best way to go about this. and tell them to send you a 240v PS.

There should be some thing locally available
I am seeing many printers power supply have similar power output especially HP. Also many pianos like Yamaha also use 16V AC adaptors.

Hmm, Thats too expensive man. do you have any friend coming over from the states? another option is to send it to a friends house and have him ship it using a cheaper shipping option. maybe goto a computer store? If you do come to Lahore, you'll definitely find those specs in hafeez center or hall road.

FYI : I just checked. here's specs of my Yamaha keyboard adapter :

I wouldn't recommend. It will deliver exactly double the wattage. 16v 500ma gives 8W of power to the amp. while 16v 1amp (1000ma) will give 16Watts. So It might damage the device. I wouldn't use it. but then again, even if I use a 5v 3a charger on my iPhone it only draws the maximum 5v 2.1a of power from it. so It depends on the internal power management of the schiit. I'd send them an email to confirm. they're pretty fast at responding to emails.
