how to burst and tap

guys i am currently facing problem...it is my very weak habit to crouch and shoot enemy....this is not good because when multiple enemies r there i can headshot directly...

i want to ask how to burst and tap as i have seen any pros do it online....also i want to know how to do ducking (silent run)

You have to slap yourself (in real life) whenever you crouch and there is an onrushing team. The best way to stop an onrushing team, on lan atleast, is to keep on moving left and right and shoot only 2 or 3 bullets at a time. Like move left, shoot 3 bullets, then move right, shoot 3 bullets. Keep doing this and you'll practice.

A way to improve stretching aim is to make two points on a wall on CS far away. Then move your mouse quickly on those two points, shooting one or two bullets on one point, then move mouse quickly, then shoot 2 bullets on that point. Keep doing this for 5 to 10 minutes every day and you'll start to know how your mouse works and how much you have to move it for it to reach a certain destination.

For Ducking:

Keep running forward or backward and keep pressing CTRL like this:

CTRL..CTRL............CTRL..CTRL............CTRL..CTRL.... and so on. Press two times quickly, and then wait for 0.4 or so seconds, then press two times again quickly.

Practice it.

bro i have practice ducking...i loose momentum while ducking using ctrl...but when i use ctrl+ scroll i dont loose speed....so what am i doing wrong

You are not timing it right. You might be tapping CTRL too quickly. Let there be a very very small amount of time between taps.

Try using 'mouse wheel up' to duck. I use it, its convenient and easy

But this method is not allowed in any sort of competitions (offline and online). So using it will dampen your game if you want to take it to the next level.

yes try using mouse wheel down scroll button to duck , press it one time and then quickly press CTRL then ull be able to duck quickly without ever losing your running momentum!

Once again: BINDING DUCK TO MOUSE WHEEL BUTTONS WILL CAUSE YOU TO BE BANNED FROM ONLINE/LOCAL COMPETITIONS.

So don't make it a habit otherwise taking the next step would be very difficult as I've seen LAN people unable to play their proper game when they were forced to unbind duck from Mousewheel buttons.

Hey please dont use scroll duking as i am doing it and it is now immposible for me to live without it =( . . I play only online but scroll ducking had ruined my game , i cant play with out using mouse wheel .

if you are on long range tapping is best , , , a two bullet brust is also recommended on long range , , for short range control your recoil it will be better ,,, you can find many videos on youtube about these things . . . . .

stop playing online.. get luxbots... then dm against them... set them to knife... and just strage and tap tap tap tap... don't even burst... do this for a month... i would recommend that you use the awp also on a daily basis with bots on dm.... the goal is to make the strafing and tapping into your muscle memory.... bad habbits kill your game...

i am also a newbie at CS... my game is not improving much but its neither bad. practicing on bots seems like a good idea.. can you recommend some please

second question is how the fu#k do you jump high enough to climb boxes.. like in map:snow or dust

i saw on some forum to crouch and jump at the same time to jump higher but its not working at all. Also in dust i have seen people climbing on the roof .. can do that either.. any tips?
