A simple question from respected members:
Which earphones really did overwhelm you while using with cell phone?
Actually I am in a fix which earphones should I get. Please refrain from advising JVC, earpods and sony as I didn't find them satisfying. I ordered sennheiser cx300 from homeshopping but its out of stock. Any other model is more or equally good? How about Bose and Logitech eu? I want it to work balanced, clear from low to high end, no high pitches or shrills to damage ears and beats that one can feel as well. Base is important too :)
Looking forward for your advise. @abobobilly, @Lord Ammar and Thinker I think you all are well versed in this arena so really hoping for your advices as well...

Lord AvaLon! I would like to know the names of the products you used and the reason WHY you didn't find them satisfying.

Most important question ... WHICH PHONE you are going to be using with it?

Same here. I need earphones for my Galaxy Ace. Headphones work fine but they're massive and I only use them with my laptop.

I am going to use it with iPhone.
By satisfying I want them to deliver beats that are not just audible but felt. Clarity from high to low end. Sound shouldn't be so high pitched and shrill that you have to reduce the treble to understand whats going on. I have used JVC FX 80, iPhone earbuds and Sony ones. I want to upgrade now and land over something that should have a wow effect. The names I mentioned are based on my research on the reviews on various forums and sites.

If you are a Music lover then get rid of whatever iPhone you have.

Get a Galaxy S, root it, install CM10.1 (with Voodoo Sound already included), and listen to ultimate music experience. NOW talk about getting some headphones.

For around 1.5k, you can get yourself a pair of JVC FX-67, pretty good for their price and impressive value for money. Courtesy of LeGenD123

Specifically for your iPhone, other people may be able to suggest something better because i've found iPhone 3G/3GS/4/4S to be MEH in sound department. As well as the Beats (overrated) audio in HTC Phones (OneX); The primary reason i still haven't been able to move on from my Galaxy S.

The handful earphone models i've tested, were with my Galaxy S running Voodoo Sound so i was able to make even the most stupid ones sound better than they originally were. So frankly, i may not be aware of the true sound quality (without any 'processing' inbetween).

Sony mdr ex300 to 700 has good sound quality as on internet.
Jvc fx67 has also good reviews.
But i have personally used them and the bass was just too low but sound quality was very clear

I have the JVC Bi Metal FX300 and I absolutely love them. I got them for 3500rs from home shopping last year. The bass is very neutral so it wont exactly blow your eardrums out if thats what you are looking for but really overall the sound quality is supreme. The detail and sound stage is amazing. They are not the most sensitive ear-phones but with an iphone 4 or 4S that shouldnt be a problem.

If i recall it correctly, HAMMER of THOR did recommend me this model. I was going to get it, until i listened to their sound and compared to FX67 by JVC. The package may seem tempting but they are overpriced for what they are. FX67 costing 4x less seemed like better value.

P.S. Both of them have lifeless sound quality. The sound is audible, with clear lows and highs, with promising bass, but both of them feel lifeless. You just can't feel anything special. BiMetals costing 2k less than CX400, sound better (however, the bass maybe a bit ... compromising).

Have you been able to find any Sony ear buds latest models anywhere?

For Stock experience YES.

Can't match the mightiness of your Voodoo Sound. /Fact You can vouch for that yourself.

If you're willing to go through the hassle of shipping, look no further than the VSonic GR-02 BE.

Yar laiken nexus S\galaxy S are not very good phones to buy now to be honest, too dated hardware and performance. iphone 4S is the best music smartphone currently as far as relevant phones are concerned.

And as good as voodoo sound makes things I wouldnt go as far as to sell an iphone just to get it. Casual users wont even know what difference it made. Agar ultimate portable audio chahia kissi ko to there are pro-grade dedicated MP3 players as well that you can buy.

Well as a phone, they are not outdated. They are Ancient :p

But i never really liked the "Stock" experience of iPhones. So meh :\ (or may be i am spolied because of the Voodoo Sound, and the ability to gain access to "Processing" part of the chip)

Casual users never really care for a better ear buds as well :p

But you are right. It was exaggeration on my part. Apologies.

Do they really cost the same as a cheap Galaxy S these days? Seriously? :\

SGS is being sold in Hall road for like 14-15k these days, and still at a stupid 18k in Hafeez Center lol.

Apologies for not quoting the model. Yes I am using 4s and quite satisfied as it provides somewhat better experience with good sound quality. How about the base of bi metal in comparison to fxc80 hd? Cause I used them and didn't find the sound exactly delivering the true base. Even the apple earpods performed better in this department. I searched a lot and found a few models which are acclaimed as the best earphones in terms of base, proper highs and lows of music without focusing on particularly treble. such as shure, yamaha, etymotic etc. it was written that they deliver a natural overall sound with perfect base. But the problem is availability. Cx400 precision would be able to do such thing? I heard Bose IE2 are overpriced and jvc models lack the base.
Its so much confusing which product would be the best choice.

You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.
