Can someone help me out here? I have like food 3 times a week and I still don't seem to be gaining weight :S I'm 19, 6foot somethin, male and 60KG only. -_- Don't have much activity at all so its not like I'm burning any energy.

And I tried push ups, if I constantly do them, I can do more and more every day but I don't seem to get physically stronger? And I end up not doing them then.

Well, if you have food 3 times a week, how will you gain wait??? (typo???)
If you need to gain wait you have to eat 6 times a day, with regular intervals, eat healthy, like grilled chicked, fish, etc. ALso concentrate on protein shakes, or if you are not looking for supplements, banana milk shakes can help as well. Motivation is the key here... It wont happen overnight, out your body, mind and soul into it if you are really commuted.

Ohh thanks, motivation is not the issue I just seem to have a hard time gaining weight. A question, what counts as a "meal"? If I have like 2 mangoes (full) is that a meal? Or something of similar size. ?

And I seem to be able to do more pushups everyday, went from 7reps/3 sets to 10reps/3 sets in a week, is that just because my body is getting used to it or am I actually growing stronger? There isn't any visible difference :p

2 Mangoes! Man that counts as a part of a sub meal. Add a litre of milk to that and you have a sub-meal. Plus focus on protein diet, as they are building blocks of your muscles. Now focus on 3 main courses and 3 sub-meals daily.

You are an ectomorph, you will have a hard time gaining wait. Then again ectomorphs can aim for a lean muscular body easily than the other kinds.

Don't worry about the results, and concentrate on mass-building exercises rather than strength building. First aim for muscle mass, then convert that to strength.
Focus more on dead lifts, squats, bench press and arnold press. Also do pullups/pushups before/after a routine. Reduce your reps and add more weights.

It will take at least 3-6 months to notice considerable improvement, depending on your motivation and regularity.

I had a similar body structure to yours, i am 5"11 and was 58 kgs few months back, now after extensive research and hiring personal trainer i have gained 12kg.

Give it time!

I think I forgot to mention, the only bit of excercise I do is at home not at a gym. What can I do at home as a substitute to all that? Or do I definitely need weights, in which case I should join a gym? I'm actually not sure if I should join a gym, I'm skinny :$

Just get a set of dumb bells and a barbell is you can. Thats all you really require.
No need to join the gym at this stage.
There are a few exercises in which you don't need any equipment, but i still recommend dumb bells for mass gaining.
