hummm good news but we will have to wait for quite a long time before rockstar release it specially the pc gamers and still there is no sings of agent and rockstar is delaying the release date of max payne 3 every month it was due in april 2011 and now its delayed till dec 2011!!!!!

There's a rumour the setting will be a California-like city. Apparent from the hiring of California-accent voice actors.
That would be very unlike Vice City which was a ficitional model of Miami. So I guess GTA V will be slightly more inclined towards San Andreas in terms of atmosphere

Rockstar can burn in hell with thier games, after the snoozefest RDR and LA Noire, i'm not buying any Rockstar games.

What's everyone so excited about, it's going to be the same as the past GTAs except in a new city. I doubt there'll even be 5 new things in the game.

I lost hope when I played GTA IV. It started as a bang, ended in a whimper. Won't be playing GTA V.

What's everyone so excited about, it's going to be the same as the past GTAs except in a new city. I doubt there'll even be 5 new things in the game.

Fun, people are excited about fun the GTA games offer. I agree it's been following a declining trend but still, GTA IV was a fine game and certainly entertaining if you are into free-roam, sandbox style games. I spent a lot of time with it on PS3 and it was all about driving, shooting, lurking here and there plus the multiplayer part was extremely enjoyable. The single player campaign wasn't half bad either. Overall, it was surely not on par with expectations but it wasn't a bad game either. If they return back to roots and deliver gameplay/story like Vice City or San Andreas then GTA V could be a big one.

Yeah Yeah!...Tell that to me when the game is released!....
I just wish it's released for the PC at the same time as for consoles and is much better optimized than that crap GTA4....Although i doubt it very much..

This is what I've heard so far:

Industry analyst Michael Pachter of Wedbush Morgan Securities is convinced that a new GTA will hit stores before the end of fiscal year 2011.

The game could be set in Los Angeles, or Los Santos as it's known in Rockstar's fictional universe.
