GTA IV Lag Problem !!

Aoa guys ,
Ive installed my GTA IV and im having this lag issue .. im totally freaked out ! ive tried everything but still it stucks ! where as on the same time im playing assassins creed : brotherhood and its working totally fine .

Here are my pc specs :
.INTEL Core i3 M 370 @ 2.40GHz
.Ram 2 GB
.Graphic Card : ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650

Recommended System Requirements :

• Operating System: Windows Vista Service Pack 1 OR Windows XP Service Pack 3
• Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad 2.4GHz, AMD Phenom X3 2.1GHz
• Memory/RAM: 2.5GB for Vista, 2.5GB for XP
• Hard Disk Space: 18 GB Free
• Video Card: 512MB NVIDIA 8600 or 512MB ATI 3870
  
  Any SOlutions ?? plx

GTA 4 is very unoptimized game plus you have laptop but try downloading patch it may help you.

im getting the same problem. it is a desktop pc. core i3 540 @3.07 gigs, 2 gigs of ram and 9500 gt 512mb not oc. mobo is asus p7h55

problem is ur weak gpu and gta 4 is very buggy game so i hope it makes it clear!

This is holding you back, the GPU is not good enough to run this game smoothly. Even the normal 4650 is not good enough and keep it mind that this is Mobility radeon 4650 which will aboviously slower than the normal 4650's that is used in desktop pc's

^Nope, it won't until you get a better card. If you can tell me your budget then i can suggest you one.

your hardware is extremely weak (the GPU)
upgrade it to (dextop) 5770 and ul feel the difference of day and night.. just patching won't help

and yeah on laptop u can't upgrade so..
if u want to game.. just buy an alien ware.. better if a custom gaming desktop

if not then play whatever it plays and be happy

Your specs doesn't even meet the recommended requirements.
Your current CPU isn't quad core neither it's triple core (which is recommended).

On the other hand you can't compare GTA IV with AC:BH as it's heavily GPU depended game.
BTW, what's your operating system, mind telling? If it's Vista/7 try switching to XP that might improves a little bit performance but that won't be much noticeable, though.

I was experiencing the same problem when GTA IV was released but problem is that low FPS is due to GTA itself not hardware. Rockstar games has released a patches for it which hopefully solved when I was playing a long ago. Now I have forget what patch is . But you need to search for patch and that patch crack and then play and inshallah problem will be gone and you will get decent FPS.

on my pc i was getting 10 frames per second and game was totally unplayable.after applying all 7 patches i palyed on 25 to 30 frames per second.so download and apply all patches there will be huge performance increase

I have ci3 2.93 and 2gb and 9800gt 1gb. Gta IV works fine
