You do need an apartment with a planning room to be able to start heists. These apartments are the expensive ones over $300,000 price that come with a planning room with a planning board, blueprint LS map and all. Heists are free DLC along with other DLC such as beach bum pack etc. And by the looks of it, none of the DLC they announced is coming anytime soon. They have been fixing bugs all this time and still no release date announcement on Heists. Maybe they'll talk more about it in 2014.
i think i read somewhere that beach bum and content creator are coming pretty soon..in the 1.50 update

People still waiting for that Grand Theft Auto Online stimulus package from Rockstar won't have to wait much longer.
Rockstar says that the next title update for Grand Theft Auto V's multiplayer mode is expected to arrive early next week. The update will address player progress loss as highlighted an a previous update. The GTA Online stimulus package was currently on hold to fix bugs regarding progress loss. With the title update coming early next week, Rockstar plans to distribute the stimulus money by the end of next week.
Recently, Rockstar announced that Grand Theft Auto V has sold 29 million units since its release. GTA V is out now for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

So i just found out that f***ing s***bag Microsoft shut down Arkane Studio (makers of the brilliant Dishonored series) and Tango Gameworks (makers of the iconic The Evil Within series), among some other studios. I just want to say a giant F*** Y**! to Microsoft. THEY'VE F***ED UP BIG TIME this time.

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
