MULTI Game distribution in Pakistan

I am a representer of a company whos interested in distributing vairety of Games and software in the Pakistan Market; We are currently working on creating copyright agreements with different companies.
we see great potential in the Pakgamers.com community and would like some feedback as to how what and why; would you guys like and what kind of help you can provide us

Yes we are focusing on providing with legit games and willing to distribute any local games developed in pakistan
our reason to approach such a community is understand the market and fulfill the customers need. be that we are not in a position to launch or distribute games from well known developers due to this we would like to bring our pakistani game developers to their standing

PG is the best forum for the promotion of legit games in Pakistan. Please let us know the companies you're making agreement with. btw here you can find a number of gamers who're interested in buying original games (and they post new thread now and then for it). In my opinion the games that offer online multiplayer are most wanted (COD etc), but many are willing to buy other games as well (such as assassin's Creed II etc)... Hope u get a picture..

Good luck man.. But you do know that most of the gaming population depends on piracy right?.. Even the main purpose of buying the Xbox 360 for many people was gettin 100RS games..

Pakistani gamers need legit games at cheap rates just like indian are getting........In india legit games are soo cheap e.g GTA IV launch Price in India 500R.s.............We also need cheap games i have a legit GTA IV and planing to buy its episodes 100s of pakgamers have thousands of legit games and there are soo many people out side pakgamers which are gaming(legit)

^ Games aren't officially launched here unlike India, so yeah price difference is likely.

I hope the legit games you are talking about are cheap or else it will be a no go!!!
By cheap i mean well cheap enough so you don't cough before buying a legit copy of any game!!!

If you wanna market legit games here then you have to start with the PS3 first. (PC and 360 owners will never give in to Legit games)
Second make the games cheaper, or atleast allow cheaper prices of games for Pakis on online Networks like PSN, and XBoxLive. By cheaper I mean under Rs5000 for a new game.
Thirdly, a proper paying solution for Pakistan (Paki Paypal, or other online methods)

But then I have issues:
.Most Mature games have nudity in it (Dante's Inferno). How will you guys bring these games here considering these are most in demand
.Which publishers are you guys gonna reel in
.Have you contacted any Govt Paki Org.
.Do you guys know anything about games or Pakistan for that matter.

get PC original discs too, since a lot of gamers here use PC platform too. I'd like to see an original game of max price of 1000rs as most of us would like it too

PS3 first......Provide them cheaper PS3 Games than the Market...

Then slowly move towards the Xbox 360 not PC because many PC Gamers would stick to downloading the games. The 360 Games should be btw 1k-2k coz anything more than that would not be bought!

Targeting PC gamers isn't worth it; Steam usually sells games for much cheaper than anyone else.

PC Gamers will only be interested if you offer games at relatively cheaper rates (which I believe won't be possible).

PS3 guys don't have the option of piracy so they are the ones you have to focus on.

Dear Gamers,

I have gone through the thread and gathered most of you have misunderstood what we are offering,

by LEGIT games we are refering to games which are made by local developers or games which are developed by up and comers overseas,
At this time we are not focusing on bringing in deals with well known developers.
At first we are targeting the PC market as its the easier way to enter into a gaming market. PS3 and Microsoft have restrictions based on copyrights.
What we are trying to establish is Pakistans own copyright stand by doing contracts with giants of the media like Jang Group, Geo and others so fort. We have a great resource as far as it comes to Pakistans media.

I just wanted to clear the air that we are not briinging in games with the likes of consoles games which already have been distributed all over the world.

One PG memeber mentioned the games distribution in India, like the game e.g Gajni which is an inhouse game.

As for MS, and Sony Copyright issue, talk to their representatives at least. See if they have some kind of solution like PSN, Live, or bring games through China ....
