@Journeys End how do YOU survive till the end of a race!! i perform just fine till like 20-30% and then suddenly the lag would cause some car behind me to smash into me while turning or something and that totally destroys my car!! After that my speed never goes above 30-50

that has happened to me a lot too lol. there are way too less players online atm hence the horrendous lag. things were very good in the demo. my trick is to stay at the back of the pack and just keep doing things that give u EXP. remember the ratings in "online road trip" are based upon overall EXP. just make a car that feels best for u and keep chaining those EXP multipliers BTW the last road trip that u left, i got 3rd position in it overall

oh and a good example of how awesome nite time and draw distance is in this game

u can clearly see the horizon festival which is more than 20KM away

i thought i could drive in cockpit mode but you cant see shit in there!! Grid 2 had a way better cockpit

Really? I've only seen YouTube videos but Forza looks a heck of a lot better. More fun too with more cars and tracks.

DC's reviews will be out tomorrow, so why not wait until then if you want a sure shot answer. That said, it's highly unlikely for DC to be as good as FH2. Evolution Studios doesn't have a good track record.

I got the day 1 edition disk and it's been a while since installation is at 98%. It says 'ready to play' and I can play it, but the installation isn't moving past 98%. I could hear disk sounds up until around 90%. Then from 90-98 it seemed to be doing something that didn't require the disk since it was quite. Now it's at 98%.

Its downloading updates which takes time. If it annoys u then why not play some other game in the meanwhile? Heck u can simply turn off the console. It will install the game and download the updates while sleeping.

Because I was unaware I could do any of that First time I'm ever using an Xbox, let alone an Xbox One.
