Not sure about Y block, but they're available in Phase 5 and up.

I think Wateen Fiber is available in Y Block. Call the Optix helpline for availability
I already have PTCL and Wateen 4 MB packages.

How long have you been using Optix and what's your experience?

There was an outage for me during the night, I had to restart my modem to get it working again.
Turns out my outage was because the thin fiber wire was completely torn out of its connector from the outside box.

I'm trying to get them to change the route of the main fiber to fix the issue. Hopefully they listen to me because the fiber guy said they don't usually give us approval when we want to change the route.

In any case a fiber replacement means my connection would probably be out for days now if not weeks given their track record on installation.

I have also been trying to convince them to change my fiber route, so far nothing. They don't agree to that and ironically their support suggested it in the first place.

Same here. Their Fiber team that came today suggested this.

Change isn't even that big as well. Just have to bring the main fiber further 1 pole, which will bring it much closer to my house and will bypass a tree that the thin fiber passes through on way to my house.

That tree is the main source of problems for me since even a slight hint of wind causes it to break the fiber.

The thing is they, for some reason don't want to change tbe routing. I think the someone from their support its really complicated and it can mess with their infrastructure

Yeah I get that they don't like to change even though there is no technical reason at my end. The fiber ends at the pole and I'm the only subscriber here so adding a couple of feet shouldn't be an issue technically.

Though the fiber technician said they're not allowed to do anything without approval all the way up from the CEO level. According to him it's one of the main reason for delays [emoji53]

They can't change the route easily because of permission issues, you can't just hang anything on any state owned pole ( legally ) without legal permission first.

I live in Johar Town D-1 and have had no internet since Thursday. Whatsapp helpline guy is not even responding and no one picks up the UAN helpline. Does anyone have a phone number I can call to find out if I will ever get internet again?

So surprisingly the fiber team actually came and installed a new internal fiber for my connection. They didn't relocate the route of the main fiber though.

Despite this I still have no connectivity. The fiber team called their backend team and they told them there is an outage in Iqbal Town and they left saying it would be fixed once the outage is fixed.

Anyone in the Iqbal Town area having syncing our PPPoE connection issues?

You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.
