one looks a bit newer but is 3300rs , the other looks a bit older but is 5800rs

The major difference is one has a Gigabit wan port and the other does not. If you want to go over 100 mbps you will need a Gigabit router with a 10/100/1000 wan port.

Using it from 1 Month. The only disconnection i got was when it went down for everyone in Lahore. Other than that its more stable than Ptcl, At least for me.
Block F, I would rate them probably 8/10 they still need to improve somethings but after upgrading from a 12mb Ptcl to a 100mb connection and paying less than that has been fun so far.
If i buy 10 Mbps package which is for Rs. 2000. Will there be any additional taxes or fees on it or there will be exact Rs. 2000 bill?
There will be tax. I think the bill for 100mb is 4600 and the package price is 4000.
I'm from Johar Town A-1 Block (near college road).
Should i go for fiberlink? Stormfiber has no plans on starting their services here anytime soon. They claimed to "energize" College Road in a months time, but they refused to give me a line (even though my house is literally a 5min walk away from college road.

Apply only if you can wait and have no other option. They will take their time to install the services from a few weeks to few months.
Just got off the phone from SF. No updates on any further expansion in JT so far. So I'm guessing it'll take them at least a year, since they're main focus is Gulberg and Model Town right now.
Back to my question. How is Fiberlink? Should I really go for it? Im sure my connection would come from Township too (like yours).

Well it's been great so far, Only issue i am facing is a minor browsing one, Which i am sure they will fix it in time. Pings and download speed has been great so far and only minor disconnections once every 2-3 weeks for 20-30 min. If you can wait go for it. Storm is expanding very slowly because of their undergound infrastructure. P.s Price to speed ratio Fiberlink is a lot better.
Okay so i called FL today and the lady on the phone said i need pay up first. Then their team would install my connection within a month. Went to the PTCL exchange after the phone call to inquire about fiber availability in my area, to which they said i should forget about it for at least the next 6-8 months. Currently the maximum speed the copper cables in my area supports is 2Mb (would get upgraded to 4mb in a weeks time as they're fixing the cable as of yesterday).
So i really got no choice other than to make the switch to FL.
What browsing issue are you facing with FL?
