I contacted Fiber Link through the Facebook page and i asked them whether it's available in Hyderabad or not and he said 'Yes it's available, you want connection for you home or office' ?
i replied them that i want connection for home and they haven't replied me yet, lol.
It's really strange because they are only available in few areas of big cities like Karachi and Lahore. So how there services are available in Hyderabad? o_o

It's just one of those companies where electronic communication is a joke. Call them up and remember the name of the person you spoke to. Follow up with the same person every time. their corporate fiber network is available in many cities. they cover most of karachi but unfortunately FTTH is only available in clifton and defenceLOL first they said they are available and after that they said they are not available :/

i finally got a connection after waiting for 45 days. I got a 5MB connection fiber2home. I was previously with worldcall for nearly 12 years but their services in cantt have really gone to the dogs. at the moment the speed is great but i cant really be sure after going through the entire conversation (53 pages!) and would probably find out after a month if they are as good as they say they are. 3 things i really dont like about them. 1) Their deployment method is really bad! like after 35 days i found out that they had the wrong address ( added gulberg along with cantt) even though any person from Lahore would know that cant be true. But they never cared to call me up and confirm. After i got my address fixed they took another 10 days to fix everything up. 2) They dont give their users the username and password for their respective routers. In order to change the SSID and Password one has to call support up. A 1 min tasks ends up taking alot longer. Heck i had to get my password changed 5 times last night as the support guy kept on messing it up

When i asked why they just didnt hand over the user name and password for the routers he went like because then people miss use it :S If that had been the case then i am sure Nayatel would have adopted the same policy as well. 3) I play games on XBOX Live and for that i need the NAT to be Open while they have set it on Moderate. This MIGHT be an issue for some games. I asked the support guy to change it to Open but he went like he will have to check with his team and get back to me but i am still waiting for his call i think i should follow up on this. anyone else who was able to get it changed?
At the end the thing is that they have been dealing with the corporate sector for a while and they are still in the infant stage in the consumer sector and its a whole new ball game. They need to re-think their strategy otherwise they might be able to give WorldCall & PTCL a run for their money with their rates BUT once a company like Nayatel or TW comes to Lahore then they are in for a shock! ---sorry for the long rant

Yea they don't give username password of the router. Oh and I can play multiplayer + download on the PS4 perfectly fine (connected via LAN cable) so I'm sure XBOX will work fine as well.i finally got a connection after waiting for 45 days. How are their pings to europe and north american game servers as compared to worldcall? I'm thinking of making the switch but cba if there is no difference in ping. I currently get around 170. Any feedback would be appreciated.

From Noon to Mid-Night, latency to Europe is doubled with some spikes observed. From Mid-Night to noon, latency drops down to 140ms. (Karachi Fiberlink).
Also, double speed at night doesn't always seem to go up on time and sometimes it just doesn't get doubled for the whole night.
Overall, not impressed as of yet. Had mailed them a week ago, but no fixes yet.
PTCL is still stabler (in a shittier sense), but Fiberlink response and fix duration leaves much to be desired.

[MENTION=128162]Khan2014[/MENTION] probably due to the fiber cut. Since when have you been facing this issue? I thought this issue was isolated to Lahore.
