Sir Alex Ferguson: "I decided to freshen things up today and play Clattenburg instead of Webb, it seems to have paid off". :lol:I actually missed the second half of the Chelsea-United game (and bits of the first half as well. Looks like I missed out on lots of entertainment!

Webb will get a start in the next game at OT when they'll will play against united.

considering how many dreadful performances webb has put in now, it's about time he was dropped.... Clattenburg was given the nod, he took the chance brilliantly, i must say... Chelsea were clearly missing their top performer, martin atkinson... and it was Clattenburg who had the last laugh.... a brilliant performance by the united 12th man, and chelsea lose at Stamford Bridge.... what will be interesting to see is if Sir Alex continues with Clattenburg after his brilliant performance today, or the more fan-favorite Webb makes his return against Arsenal.
Apart from the decisions who'll come forward to judge United did pretty well today?

the back was always gonna be a problem...
mid was dreadful without someone to hold the ball (aaaaaaaand we don't have a holding mid).... scholes might have been the first red card of the evening had he started, with the way the game was going.... we scored two brilliant goals on the counter, and for some reason unknown, decided to park the bus from the 15th minute onward... that was never going to work.... some strange tactical selection today.... playing young was a bizarre move too

Tactically and technically they were all over United today OG was unlucky for Luiz can't blame him actually. Valencia-VP was good strike.

can't really blame rooney for today's performance... he had to play as a CDM for the majority of the game the way our midfield was being overrun by chelsea.... our only option going forward was valencia and rvp, so it was obvious that rooney couldn't have a good game.... he made some important interceptions and clearances so i'd give him brownie points for that, but he also gave away a quite stupid free kick so i'll just take those points back....
hazard? i'm sorry but i didn't see him do one important thing today aside from walking off the pitch to make way for sturridge.... mata was brilliant, oscar was the best chelsea player today, and ramires kept pressure on our midfield....
Woo 3 points are all that matters for me. United yet again the first team to stop the rampaging team in the League.

That should have been a straight red.
BTW I remember Torres terrorising United defense, and each time one of United's players got a red card (Vidic mainly). So it was good to see him getting one in return too lol!

Couldn't agree more, i am just surprised this guy is getting picked so regularly for the first team, not only by RDM but by previous managers as well. The bad thing is that he doesn't even get injured :S
Essien was great in that position but too bad he regularly got injured at his time with chelsea. I hope somehow RDM change his mind and pick romeu instead of him or just give that role to ramires.
Mikel's role is to sit infront of the back four and defend when they are out of position, he usually gives the ball away and then can't even get back to take it back. He just doesn't have the pace to do so.
it's inexcusable how essien gets sent out to loan and mikel gets a guaranteed first team spot.... if essien is fit enough to be be sent out on loan (and he's been a regular for mouinho), surely he can play? i can't even understand what fucking position does mikel play naturally.... he's NOT a central mid (couldn't pass if a gun was put to his head)... he's NOT a central defensive mid ( he can't tackle and usually ends up giving silly fouls)... then what alien position does he play in?
I recently read somewhere that he (Mikel) has been offered a 5 five year contract
On the other side cole and lampard were offered 1 year contract which they didn't agree to, i can understand the situation with lampard (as there are other players who can play in his role the likes of Oscar, hazard etc) but seriously cole? I mean c'mon we don't have his replacement plus he's been consistent through out why not offer him a longer contract :S

The gameplay is generic & outdated in that game. And it's 5 hour campaign is too short to enjoy.

BTW, i started Ghost of Tsushima, and it got me hooked within the first couple of minutes. I already know It's gonna be a memorable experience. This is how you make a proper Samurai game. Not that SJW game Ubisoft is making.

L LegacyGamerGuy:Consoles were my main platform ever since Atari 2500. But now I think it's not worth it as PC especially with DLSS deliver far smoother performance. AW2 on console didn't even had ray tracing and ran below 30fps. Similar issues plagues DD2 on consoled.
