I remember the King's party doing a rigorous campaign during the last elections. They invested heavily in advertisements and their election offices were the most organized and efficient of the lot.

I have heard growing up that people were mad about Altaf's leadership ,(still many are) but in early days general public was always ready to follow him everywhere ... rich people would clean streets before a program ,and gatherings were a scene of festival ...

I wonder whatever happened to that ... so much hatred against them is spread with a mission .
. they are not saints but still ,self made leaders who have faced extreme oppression and killings .. proved their worth when they got control ..

their graphs were going uphill before 12 may .. and now one the most hated parties ...

elections should be delayed atleast in Karachi ... it is almost certain there would be blasts or attempts at polling stations esp. in strongholds of MQM and ANP .. who would want to come out and vote knowing the risks ?

^^now i am more worried about what happen after election , when TTP achieved (i wish they wouldn't) but if these three parties didn't win and what if next govt sit there @ss like this care taker govt and TTP issue some new statement like all should wear burkha and shlawar kamez or else like destroying barber shops , hitting people on roads (like did in lal mosque) because for sure this is what happening in Karachi or KPK is just a trailer where real movie start after election . (sm1) more over first time in my life i want to vote for

I think it would be more beneficial to accommodate election day updates in this thread only. However, I request [MENTION=39471]Blastwave[/MENTION] to put up election relevant info on OP (which should include: Candidates information, polling process, website to find polling station)

no this won;t happen army won;t let it happen ..Kyani has said clearly ... and PPP ,ANP and MQM were partner in Govt had army and intelligence behind them ..they could have removed talibanization in 5 years ... how can they do it in next 5 years ??

PTI agenda makes sense ... but if pmlN wins .. I think situation is gonna get much worse .. and government won;t even last 2 years

but we cant wait for dialogue , and whom to dialogue and for what (as TTP want there system in our society) , and is it really easy to shoot down drones and what will be the reaction of US if IK order to shoot down drone , and what happen if drone thing end and TTP pass some more of statements , because in mean time they get more of there roots in society which cause more bloodshed and if i vote for PTI , and if they even more empower TTP then i would never been able to forgive my self for this sin .

hmm so its better to not vote for any one as these three of them whom do nothing about TTP (reason could be they scared of due to what happen to Musharraf in controversy of lal mosque and Bugatti scene) on other hand JUI/JI (i personally know what kind of people they are as in my university days my interaction with them is the worst experiences of my life) PMLN we all know what they did in 90's .

vote for PTI , IK doesnt say he will negotiate with all extremists ... some of the violence can be controlled by negotiations and restricting alliance with US . for others he says military will be used and he has public support he CAN do it
