I got mine made 5-6 months back.Thank you officer. How much time will it be taking?
Here's how the shit gets done:
You go to the office, get a form and fill it, get your picture taken from the counter just to the right of it, and attach proper number of pictures to the form. Then go in the next room to the counter to your very left just as you enter (room will have lots of chairs in the middle). Present your form to them along with the money (and maybe your CNIC), and they'll stamp it. Go to any one of the computer counters and they'll confirm your details through NADRA interface.
After that is done, get in the line which will eventually lead you to sir on the chairs. Chair by chair, make way to the medical office (the majority of your time will be spent in this line and on the chairs). You'll get your eyesight examined and maybe asked to do a couple of crunches, make sure you have proper glasses if your eyesight is weak, else they'll reject you on the spot. Then go out into the room where you got the form from initially, and go to the corridor. There's a room to the right inside the corridor where you'll have to show your form to a guy who's standing there (government employee there to prevent bribes from being taken in the department). He'll okay the form. Then go to the room to the very right side of the medical office (it's a tiny studio), get your picture taken again, get your driving license within the same room asap, then get the fuck out.
It was a confusing process, because the 'guidelines' photo hung on the wall had some outdated guidelines on it.
The process would take around 1.5 hours from start to finish.
BTW I live literally 5 minutes away from that office :3
